Promo video of the Chinese Type 003 aircraft carrier released

Let’s not take it there the US if it needs to can produce any ship or air craft in-house it has the manufacturing base if US wakes up. Every company from big to small (trucking companies even) could be mobilized for war efforts and many of our companies have a plan in place if they need to produce arms etc.

You should not underestimate Chinese Manufacturing Capability too.

You already see in the beginning of covid pandemic, how fast and capable they are to retooling & mobilizing their industries. That’s why majority of mask, PPE, and medical equipments of this world produced from China. US even needs to import hundreds of millions of mask & PPE from China.

At this moment (with less than 2% GDP of defence budget) they building more than 6 unit 8,000 Tonnes Type 052DL Destroyer in a single dock !
(Not including Cruisers, Frigates, other Destroyers, Aircraft Carrier, Assault Carriers currently under outfitting & production in same and other shipyards)

Yes, I know all that what I’m cautioning you about is not to underestimate any adversary big or small.

America can if you mean those ww2 era sea trollers quality, but now it doesn't have the sort of manufacturing suitable economy & industrial base of all encompassing components manufacturing, for that requires long term investment with no profit .US absolutely needs their allies(vassals) for their war industries, for America doing it alone is unsustainable and impossible to manage .
In that respect china is in different class,US war manufacturing triumph over tiny resourceless Japan might give an image of impressive US production capability but they never met a more equal sized nation like china.Sure US is more capable than any other western nation in manufacturing.

The america are no more the america in WWII. Most of their industries has shift overseas. If u think US can chunk out large number of war material to fight with China in short time, u are wrong.

Agreed with you bro @Beast
This guy think @PakFactor we are living in 1940s, didn’t realize that today is 2022.

Back in 1940s before US entering WW2, the Industrial Capacity already there. After Upgrade & Retooling, the US industry can chunk out warships for war.

BUT NOT IN 2020s !

Let’s take Steel Production for example (Because the main need of Shipbuilding industry is Steel)

Back in 1941 (the night before US entering WW2)
US is the world leader in steel production, outstripping other countries (germany less than 1/3, japan even less than 1/10)

But today (2022).
US already lost their steel production industry
(CHINA HAVE 15x BIGGER STEEL PRODUCTION THAN the US)

The Shipyard Capacity also, US already lost that. China is now The Largest Shipbuilder on Earth (With taking more than 50% of The World’s Shipbuilding)

That’s mean US need to build their Steel production industry from the scratch in order to produce warships, tanks and other weapons. Not only that, US also need to build their Dockyards & Shipyards in order to chunk out warships. (To build all of that they need years at least)

While China on the other hand, can chunk out their Warships immediately tomorrow or even this night if they need.

‘Time’ is one of the most important factor in the war

Calm down and hold your horses ... for now it remain on the pier for fitting out for almost 1 if not 2 years , then trials will begin, which again will take more than one year and even if then handed over to the PLAN it will not be a "big threat to USA" but a single then unproven carrier which will pave the way for more, but I'm pretty sure the PLAN knows exactly the value of this asset and this is not to "spread for against the USN"! :azn:
