Do you not use logic? If there's accusations that 'surgical strikes' happened which till date you've failed to prove to your people, not allowed international media carrying out investigations being carrying out on your side of the border, its clear that with cross firing came temptations to move forward and some were eliminated.

Instead of refuting statements why don't you work on proving surgical strikes because that's a huge and trophy worthy claim. From what I know, when a surgical strike happens you're in the other Country's territory AND claims being made that Indian army went atleast a good few Km in. Local residence did not witness any disturbance to that level, just shots, nor see any intruders.

Not sure if this was operation Casper or as one of you're politics suggested 'Hanuman' but in the real world - fairytales don't exist.

As shameful it is to admit, modi govt could have gotten away on URI without any surgical strike. First majority of casualties in URI was because of soldiers trapped in fire, not gun wounds and secondly, as much Pakistan thinks modi as an antagonist, he was elected because of Congress scams and stalling GDP growth. He doesn't need Pakistan card per se to remain in power, or Surgical strikes.

Secondly, It suits India for PA to deny surgical strikes and pull all kind of stunts and baloney for their masses. This doesn't escalate situation and also keep IA strategies & capabilities hidden.

Lastly, these surgical strikes happened to sooth anger of irate IA units. Indians would have forgotten URI after a month or two, but soldiers wouldn't. Fake surgical strike is of no use to Modi or IA, specially IA units deployed in J&K who were boiling with anger on loss of their colleagues.

When IA was hit this badly in Congress rule in Kashmir, the then defense minister AK Antony was advised by IB against travelling to Kashmir in front of infuriated Soldiers due to his strategic restraint policy.
