1. He promoted extremists views

Before Zia Pakistan was a very tolerant country, we didn't have this anti-minority group going about killing people in the name of religion. This mullah culture is a direct result of Zia's work.

2. Political Disaster

Zia is responsible for promoting the current majority of political leeches, especially NS and other people in PMLN. In his hatred of PPP he disbanded political parties and the elections were held on non party basis. This can be described as the murder of democratic culture in Pakistan.

3. Afghan refugee problem

Zia allowed millions of Afghan refugees into Pakistan in the name of Muslim brotherhood, the problem that we are facing till today. These Afghans brought their gun and drug culture into Pakistan resulting in depreciating law and order situation and also increasing the intolerance in the society.

He made laws that were anti women and anti mimority
He promoted sectarianism
He destroyed our space program

Zia save us from a direct confrontation from soviets . he died in an accident do you know his future plans? What civilian gov did after soviet fall?
