Well, at that time I was teenager and my vote got registered when I was just 17.5 i.e. 8 months before the elections and I did not had my own opinion rather I was following my peers and in my class it was all Obama ...so I voted for him as well hence there are a lot of sheep who just follow the herd

How is this news? YouTube and other U.S. based platforms have long been running ghost censorship campaigns against politicial support for China. Just because they dont heed small fish and arent upfront about taking measures to stiffle users and opinions or use cheap excuses that doesnt mean you can just shrug it off as not happening at all. U.S. companies are spying on citizens and foreigners alike and pass on confidential information to the U.S. regime like its nothing, while they dable on about Chinese companies "potentially" doing the same pointing at laws that tell something completely different than they claim. Their free media has no qualms to parrot the cheapest U.S. government paid propaganda lies while pretending to be independent and whitewash them with their "independent" name.

They are just completely dishonest about it. Where other cultures try to justify "necessary evils" and inconveniences with minced words or or just put up silently, they just answer everything with big bold selfdelusional lies. They love to tell themself and everyone they are above everyone else and when you call them out for doing the very same they use as excuse to condemn others and worse actually bad stuff, some brainwashed dimmwit will crawl out with the galls to call you the hypocrite and some stupid crap about "whataboutism" and even be half convinced of it.

You are using Canadian logic. In fact, Western society is not, and never really free.

In China or Vietnam, people can speak it quite freely and openly (and many other things). In many aspects, I feel more free living in Vietnam than in the West. The West now seems to have too many taboos (Holocaust, racism issues, advantages of communism vs. liberal society.. just to begin with)

In fact, mainstream media in Vietnam (and China too) can praise the West, even the multi-party system openly, but I doubt mainstream media in West can ever praise communism, even Chinese-style communism, which have shown its superiority to the Western system in many areas.

From historical point of view in last 2000 years, the West always behave like this, i.e. from one extreme to the other. In 50 years, it is highly likely that some Western countries will be close society with real oppressive laws.

Unlike what youtube did in China, Chinese members didn't violate any youtube rules. They still got banned simply because youtube doesn't like what they said. Ironically the reason why youtube refused to obey Chinese laws is they claimed to respect the Freedom of Speech.

But it has global presence and audience. Non-western countries do not have a competitive solution so we can all complain but the fact remains it is US company

It obviously comes off as a propaganda channel which is what YT didn't like and thus banned.

Either way, Pakistan or/& China should come up with their own platform where they can do whatever they want to.

I think what they fail to understand is that individuals can have different opinions than main stream and they are free to express. PDF is a discussion forum and here every type of person comes to discuss and expresses his or her opinion but they all have to follow certain rules to keep the discussion healthy and productive.
