Personally i think the europeans will come back stronger than ever post covid

If you could be successfull with Industry 4.0, you may have chance to get high economic growth again then this prediction may not come true. Because this kind of prediction is based on premise that countries with big population but with lower income will have pool of cheap labour to keep their economy growth high. If advanced nations like US and Europe can implement Industry 4.0 soon enough, the cheap labour advantage will become less relevant, and they can bring back their manufacturing into their shore. Of course with exception China, as China is in the same leage for Industry 4.0 pursuance.

The report measure GDP PPP, and Indonesia is not too far behind the Europeans currently. In fact behind just only Germany and Russia.

I don't think so. The report was released in 2017.

The EU just got deeper into debt after Covid. I foresee more bickering and arguing over fiscal budgets in the future between EU countries, just like after the GFC.

If it doesnt make anything useful, then PWC wont grow this big and became a leader in its industry.

Who would believe this ranking, Thailand and turkey is the highest among these countries, this is a joke .

Your question is far from being smart.

It is not about somebody can or can't make a forecast, but about how far the PWC forecast is realiable enough.

And who want to believe your forecast? eventhough I have reveal my own opinion which not in line with PWC (and you failed to see it), but at least PWC most probably quite accurate regarding Vietnam

Do not underestimate Vietnam, 10 countries in Southeast Asia, the strongest economy and technology in 2050 is definitely Indonesia and Vietnam, the other eight countries have no hope to exceed these two.
I am predicting based on population, territory, resources, and culture. The other 8 countries have obvious disadvantages compared to Indonesia and Vietnam. Of course I exclude Singapore and Brunei, two pocket countries.
