Just heard US launched missile Attacks against the city of Homs in Syria. The Air base got hit. This is the same Air base that has been targeted by Israel previously many times.

Also, you are terribly mistaken if you think that US and Israel take Russia on-board for any operation they conduct in Syria. They only issue a warning to Russia in advance that we are about to strike that part in the region so make sure that your troops and/or assets are not there. In-fact, even this level of cooperation is not always a given.

Just accept it! S-400 makes little difference against military might of US and Israel. They have the relevant countermeasures for it and should it ever come down to that, you will see that S-400 system blown to bits during the opening salvo of the operation.

Their is hell of a difference between fanboy ravings here and ground realities our there. Russian assets sound good on paper but US has a vastly bigger economy, R&D and Industrial base to prepare an appropriate counter for them.

You missed one part, US nor Russia will face each other in a war but the most west fears are the game changing weapons fall in to the had of proxy or Iran. Russia have that capability and USA/Israel knows that. Russia can change the entire region only by supplying weapons.

Israel may have a hand in this chemical attack. I dont have proof but ground reality suggest that.

Folks are speaking of S-400, co'mmon guys! It is not under control of Syrian government. S-400 was deployed to secure Russian bombers against Turkish fighters.
Russia seemingly doesn't dare to say no to Americans so S-400 is useless but no one doubts about it's capabilities.

American intervention and "removal of governments" ala Afghanistan and Iraq usually causes far more killing and civil unrest than under a sitting government. These are failed experiments and flawed notions.

Where is the proof that regime jets dropped the chemical weapons (vs. hit a rebel chemical weapons store with conventional bombs)?

Why would Assad use chemical weapons at a time when he needs public and global support as the best option Syria has (though he is far from perfect, obviously, who is the US --- which has dropped atomic bombs on civilian populations --- to question this; and Saudi Arabia and Israel cheering things on, while their own human rights record is one of the worst in the world)?

Where were American tomahawks when Israel used white phosphorus on civilian population centers repeatedly (Human Rights Watch called it war crimes)?

Around 60 Tomahawk cruise missiles were launched on Thursday night at the military airfield in Ash Sha’irat 38 kilometers southeast of the city of Homs, NBC reported, citing US military officials.

There were 60 Tomahawk launched and the damage was not even equal to 4 Tomahawk so I think this was just a warning shot by USA and this operation was carried out by 5 ships in the mediterranean sea.

That is a lot of firepower. More than enough to cripple a military base of any size. Sufficient to disrupt command and control mechanism of an entire country with well-placed strikes, even. However, this was a concentrated attack.

Of-course, Syrian regime will scramble for damage control and try to minimize the ordeal. Media sources aren't in the position to ascertain the full extent of damage done to that region either. Point is that that airbase is done for.

USA it's self said that they wanted to just give a strong message against the use of Chemical weapons so they used a large number of missiles but didn't targeted much just the runaway fuel depot and one barrack building was targeted on the Air base.
