No you dont require US. Russia has the capability to manufacture 100nm chips for a while now and it is pretty old tech now by almost 2 decades. US has monopoly on high end chips but not the whole chain. China already has been manufacturing 50nm chips for a while now. You are pretty delusional if you think you have world by balls. LMAO semiconductor technology that matters? China is now self sufficient in the ENTIRE semiconductor supply chain for 28nm as of this moment and 14nm by Q4 of 2022. That means no foreign technology or component is needed at those process nodes.

Russia’s demand for chips is significantly less than China. Russia don’t need to fab 50 million chips to use in smartphones. Military tech uses older nodes and the quantity needed is significantly less than what is needed for consumer tech products where millions are needed to meet demand.

I’ll put in simple terms so you can understand, China can fully meet Russia’s chip needs as of right now.

From my point of view Russia is quite a innocent nation compare to many others who have been on a war path last 25 years

Only time they stepped in Syria was when children started to show up floating on the beaches

Turkey also similarly acted in same manner when they stepped in Syria

I don't understand why Europe is fearful of Russia , Russia always participates in all European cultural events , yes they win many sports but it's all fair play
