Pregnant Lioness Refuses To Eat Chicken Served After UP Slaughterhouse Crackdown

As long as anyone is elected democracy and our people are safe, because we always have a option to undo any fanatics or anyone we don't want, just wait and see. And as long as Pakistan with all her strengths and weakness remain intact, I don't have any doubt India will remain as she is for the past 70 years, if not better. :)

Nazis said the same thing when electing Hitler!

Most of the world does not count 'humans' as a source of meat. Sensibilities of the world do change with time, however, presently most of people will say eating human flesh as absurd.

Think in this way. Marrying a girl at an age of 4 years will be absurd and horrific. Though at some point of time, it was practiced. But right now, it is not. And for good reasons. Moralities are not absolute.

Btw, there are things which are considered sinful in Islam, but I am sure if you do those and do not follow Islam @adil_minhas will have no beef with you. Take drinking wine or practicing sodomy. Both are considered sinful in Islam but I think most of Muslims in India will just walk away if they see you practicing them, even openly, so long you do it at your own cost in terms of money and health.

That's exactly the point that i am making

eating human flesh was acceptable once but not now.

child marriages were acceptable once but not now.

eating meat is acceptable today but may not be in future. hence the argument that historical someone ate meat of cow falls flat.

if governments can ban consumption of cocaine, marijuana , tobacco, liquor why can't it ban meat?

if you say the choice should be left with the individuals then choice should be left open in other cases too.

we dont, the rest of the planet believe it is a cow where no hindu gods live

you are free to worship and rever it as much as you want but why are you forcing your religious dietary dictats upon muslims in a alleged secular democracy

a persons dietary choices should be he own and not by your rule system

Whatever keeps you happy. :)

it does make me happy!

its why we made Pakistan

No one can look at the way the india is headed and say Partition shouldn't have happened

it is also absolute proof that india is a car headed towards a brick wall, you are making zia'esq mistakes at the moment

the Equivalent would be if we burned gita's in the street, now unless indian muslims have done that then no you cant
Thays why we all need to respect religious sentiments.. And thats why Cow meat and cow killings should banned all around India

By that logic can i burn quran in street as it is just a book for us??

That's a slippery slope.

Coz then Muslims will want to know whether they can use pages of the Bhagwad Gita for their morning ablutions.

And you know where it goes from there.

eat his parents?????:cheesy::lol::lol:

He seems to have a disturbing fetish.

Oh well, I will like to see the glass as half full. Please do no give up on a large majority of fellow indians so quickly.

The revolution of 1857 that swept across the continent started with beef and pork tallow.

These are serious issues. Not to be trifled with in our country. Or run roughshod over.

Do you not claim that protecting the basic rights of the minority is part of democracy or is it meant for countries where Hindus are minority?

There is no conflict in what I am saying and what you are asking.

In democracies, Majority makes the law. And the laws could be equitable to all or they could be inequitable too.

For example, reservation laws in India are not equitable to all. they favor certain segments of population over the other.

What is so amusing?

Well, there are logical reason why narcos etc are banned. They harm people at large. At times when certain substances like marijuana is found to be not very harmful it is also decriminalized. This has happened in few states in US I guess.

Beef is a different beast. The only reason it is banned is because it pisses off a lot of Hindus.

But by your argument, shouldn't it be the choice of the person? It is that person's life. Why should I care if someone wants to consume cocaine and die or not as long as someone is not forcing me to consume the same.

Well, I guess, rather wish, that our priorities might have evolved since 1857.

We (Hindus and Muslims) were living together side by side. Eating beef. Eating pork. Not pissing each other off.

Then the goons came. And now things are going to get ugly.

But is preventing us from eating our own cows right?

Can one buy a quran and burn them as he/she owns that book?

If you do not like me, how many times I marry, how I divorce, and what I eat, I suggest you either close your eyes, develop a thick skin, convert to Islam, or move elsewhere.

You keep repeating that it is my country and my cow but when someone puts a counter argument they have to develop thick skin or leave the country. kudos.

Is multiple marriage and divorce facility going to be available to females too?

At-least you acknowledge that you have already gone through the same situation (zia'esq), what we are alleged to be going through now ?? Yet you exist right ? That is more than enough confirmation that we will survive all this. :)

Yes, those kind of arguments always come. "Why is tobacco not banned but LSD is?" "LSD is less harmful than tobacco!". Those arguments are there and decent democracies actually adjust when enough evidence and public opinion is in-place. Usual way to resolve this is to see which is better for society in general.

Will you like to allow cocaine to be readily available or will you like to sacrifice a part of your freedom to ban a known harmful substance?

The answers are not always obvious but most people tilt towards the later part mostly due to concern of children or young adults.

Well if you can make an exception and ban cocaine but not tobacco why a similar exception can't be made to ban cow beef and allow other meat?

You are willing to sacrifice the equitable rule for safety of your children in case of cocaine but are unwilling to make similar exception where sensitivities of a sizable community is involved.

What if a zombie says I am single and I want to have my cocaine. It is my choice, my money, my life and it is my country. Why should he care about your sensitivities and insecurities about your children indulging in the same?

@adil_minhas argument of my country, my money, my cow does not cut for the same reason.

See this is the hypocrisy which leads us into further trouble.

Constant crackdown on beef consumption. Yet India remains largest exporter of beef in the world....
