Most people fel that the only real threat to PAF F16 fleet at present is the su30mki .
IN WAR with IAF how the PAF tackle this threat in particular more than the MIGs or JAGS or Mirage2000 WILL DECIDE if PAF achieves a victory stalemate or defeat.
Today the indians have published details pf the base location of their current fleet of 200 mki fighters
They are as follows
- 20 Squadron “Lightnings” -> South Western Air Command (SWAC) at Lohegaon in Pune
- 30 Squadron “Rhinos” -> South Western Air Command (SWAC) at Lohegaon in Pune
- 8 Squadron “Eight Pursuits” -> Central Air Command (CAC) at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh
- 24 Squadron “Hawks” -> Central Air Command (CAC) at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh
- 2 Squadron “Winged Arrows” -> Eastern Air Command (EAC) at Tezpur in Assam
- 102 Squadron “Trisonics” -> Eastern Air Command (EAC) at Chabua in Assam
- 31 Squadron “Lions” -> South Western Air Command (SWAC) at Jodhpur in Rajasthan
- 220 Squadron "Desert Tigers" -> Western Air Command (WAC) at Halwara in Punjab
- 21 Squadron “Ankush” -> Western Air Command (WAC) at Sirsa in Haryana
- 15 Squadron 'Flying Lancers' -> Western Air Command (WAC) at Bhatinda in Punjab
As i see it the Assam sqds and the Pune baseed fighter are too far to pose a immediate threat.
But the other 6 sdqs are within striking distance of a PAF pre emptive air strike .
These 4 bases can damaged by cruise missles or air strike potentially
IF YOU TAKE OUT THE SU30MKI bases the PAF will be half to their goal. imo

Pune is well within our range.
Well you may stop some forward based MKIs to fly for few hours but we have enough MKI based inside bases where your current fighters or CM can't reach. And MKIs with their long combat radius can operate from there too till forward bases are repaired(within hours).Umm, if PAF takes out SU30 bases (assuming minimum self losses), 100% of the job would done. Without SU30s flying in the sky, PAF can effectively smash IAF.
@Storm Force ... what is wrong with you dude... we have seen the response time of PAF during operation karachi in 1971,Osama raid ... and during salala they didn't turn up at all... so stop posting this illogical scenario..
Hmmm but it isn't IAF's style ......How about IAF striking all the F16 bases in Pakistan????? because Indian assets are spread across the country and we have a huge country by the way....

The launch of ballistic missiles will be interpreted as a nuclear strike, as soon as it is detected.Won't 2 Ballistic missiles enough to destroy an airforce base?

Well then there is no need to discuss airforce scenarios. Use of ballastic missiles will change everything to a much higher level.Won't 2 Ballistic missiles enough to destroy an airforce base?

Brahmos can target almost all important spots in Pak. Not to mention all the air launched CMs we have.Might be, might be not. Since India don't have long range Cruise missile, it will definitely rely on Ballistic missiles to target Pakistan isn't it?
lol ... this is the best can do... I pity you people who stills believe in this siht.Who intercepted your SU-30's in '08? Aliens in guise of chinese that you once upon a time were tracking?
