I remember watching a bull being sacrificed, however half way through the animal gets up and tried to run. It was making this unearthly horrifying sound as it was thrashing around. Blood was everywhere. The animal was trying to breath, as the windpipe was severed it couldn't do so ending up making that sound.

I didn't see the end of it. That was the last time I saw a Qurbani. That bull chased me in my nightmare for weeks.

I think I was 9 years old.

Well the person who did that Qurbani didnt do it right... It's not supposed to hurt for the animal

You're supposed to paralyze it by cutting something on its neck, I forget whats its called

Qurbani is for ALLAH, I don't like the idea of advertising what we bought for how much. Such acts should remain between oneself and Allah. Hope you understand.

Credit goes to younger brother who combed through every market from Mansehra to Haripur...
70 kilos will be distributed,mainly given to our local madrissah..Along with the hyde....

I know as my sister also had same effect when she saw the qurbani in childhood and then quit eating meat after that

i have this problem too, i love beef. but i cant eat sacrificed cow , i feel sick because of the fondness developed for that animal.

On the contrary i eat Qurbani meat knowing that its fresh....and tastes better...
