Pork or nothing: how school dinners are dividing France

As i see the plate, the eater can just leave the pork stuff and eat rest of it.

Btw, what about the students who want to eat it. I suppose they are eating it as a part of their menu from centuries. Why would they just take it off the menu one fine day just becoz some minorities dont want it. Does not make any sense.

Who said take it off the menu?

Pork is cheap, maybe not the healthiest one. If pork is the only meat on the menu, an observant student may choose not to pick it or can ask so that they are not served pork.
No meat is cheapest ;-) Fish is nice too.

How We Eat Meat Around The World - Business Insider

I'ld rather eat fewer and smaller portions but better quality meat (i.e. not 'factory-meat'), plus lots of fish.

Just offer two plates. One with mostly veg and other balanced or meat or whatever. Problem solved.

Does it have anything to do with haggis? I used to love it when I was in scotland.

This blood sausages are just a ploy by the multi-national meat industry to make you eat everything. They are selling the waste also now.

Nah has nothing to do with haggis, except they both share the similar level of gross.

It's traditional food.

Real blood sausages is when in the village they slaughtered a pig and make sausage with own hands. That thing sold in stores - a pitiful semblance..
