What's new

Poor Legislation: Lawmakers fail to note details of bill they are lobbying for.

Not perfect. But it is working for all.

Are you common man. Let me ask you?

I don't have any problems with it being not perfect.
But "working for all" part seems fishy.

can you give me your definition of "working" and "All"

Are you common man

That was the question.

What Iran have to do with my post on Pakistan's politics? But anyway as you brought Iran (i guess because of flag in my profile like most posters do) than you must be knowing that they have their own version (right or wrong) of Democracy tailored for their needs, Her literacy rate is much higher than Pakistan and highly educated (with considerable P.h.d holders) sitting in parliament unlike fake degree holders, or metric pass but still it's not successful imo.

OK.

I guess you mean Imran Khan's degree is fake

. . .
What benefits do you want Pakistan to give you?

Let's see what benefits were you talking about.

I see you, just nit picking my words.
But anyway i will reply.

I don;t need benefits from Pakistan. Rather i owe Pakistan big time.
Its the Gov of Pakistan i am talking about.
Its of no use to mention the benefits i need since it won't be same for every other common man.
It varies.

However, we all know that government's polices are not beneficial to common man.
Hence poorer getting poorer

Bhai

you made a sweeping statement. I just wanted to fully understand what you need in benefits.

Obviously you do not. At least as per your post.

People are constantly comparing UK with pakistan. Uk has a headstart of few hundred years to begin with. Renaisance, industrial revolution passed over us south asians, europeans were lucky to have a jump start.

It does not mean we are bound to be behind them forever. We can at least catch up with them in this century, with amazing communication technology and travel, people learn from each others experience like never before.

What is highly unlikely is suddenly your society can transform within 10 years and become like UK. You are expecting miracle, and if that does not happen you suddenly roll on the floor crying like a spoilt child. You see others toys and want one like that.

May be its a problem with expats. They have unusual high expectation and low view about their people back home. I am quite conscious of this and try not to be preachy or dismissive of people back home in India, I have no right.

How was that a sweeping statement?
Its a reality.

Its not some grocery items i am talking about for which a list would do the work.
I have observed a lot of your posts from quite some time and i am sure you are not that naive to know whether government policies are proving to be beneficial or opposite for the people.

Let's not bring WESHT in this this.

WESHT gets its job done no matter what. In fact they prefer unelected governments .

Ask Sisi

i agree it has less to do with west and more with our own mindset,

i disagree that west is able to get the job done always, its usually the "muslim world" that does his job for the west, ever wondered why is west not successful in China and Russia, where too there are "unelected governments".
