1. Muslims in this age are split on sectarian grounds, and are unable to get along well. Belief system of Shia and Ahmedi contradict that of Sunni to such an extent that inter-marriages are difficult or frown upon.
So why cant Sunnis accept variations or contradictions(esp Shia) since they have diff ideology but are still Muslims? Sunnis having 3000 billion people but doesnt mean its ideology is sound and working well in this 21st century.
2. Iran is just as bad as US in its interventionist designs. Look around the Middle East and you will notice Iran-backed militias in different countries such as Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Bahrain and Lebanon.
What the hellp are you talking about? Iran is WAY better than US, because look at it, Iran is challenging US supremacy in the ME with what % of resources US has? But you gave Iran a compliment- You are admitting that Iran has had alot of intervention and military influence in the ME Despite decades of sanctions. What you are calling "bad at intervention" is really just the complications from interventions due to other countries intervening in what the initial country intervened in. Every country that is power or wants to be powerful will intervene in other countries...if they can do it succesfully. Many states are just incompetent, unskilled, poor so they cant do it well.
These militias are like a state within a state, and therefore not popular and/or fuel animosty.
The only time it doesnt work in a serious way is due to intervention, primarily by US and Israel and then by GCC.
Hezbollah built a better state within the LEbanese state. fact!
In Syria, Iran supported a murderous scum in ruining the lives of millions of people - do you think these people will forget and forgive?
dont be a hypocrite- how many murderous regimes has US supported? Also, stop manipulating the truth- only 50% of Syrians didnt approve of Assad, so why mention all the people who were against him but ignore those who supported him? Assad did commit crimes, but dont simplify a complex situation like the Syrian war.
3. Iraq can never return to normalcy as long as it is split on the lines of US-backed and Iran-backed elements.
Iraq was already doomed the moment the "glue" to keep Iraq together, namely Saddam was removed. Power in Mesopotamia was handed over to Persia. GCC and US will never get it back.
Iran needs nukes and a delivery vehicle to Tel Aviv to defend itself.
Iran can defend herself without Nukes, but it will be more risk and more work.
