Pompeo announces new US investments in Indo-Pacific region

Can you please get me 1 (One) F-35 Please. Thank you.
In fact, this is a human investment, or in other word "bribery" for the corrupted politicians.

.
113million? Compared to BRI's 3billion plus?

:D

BRI is 1 trillion.

By the way, the US had also started a New Silk Road with Afghanistan, India etc. involved. And this was during the saner Obama presidency.

They failed so badly, the US regime now pretends it has never happened.

Now, under the senile US regime we need to anticipate that 100 million investment (if ever) will make a difference with China's regional development and investment drive to the scale that has not been seen before?

How more senile and demented the US regime could get?

Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Geng Shuang's

Regular Press Conference on July 31, 2018

Q: Firstly, the ROK media reported that Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee visited the ROK. What topic did the two sides talk about? Did they discuss China's participation at releasing the declaration on the end of war on the Korean Peninsula? Secondly, the US, Japan and Australia announced that they would increase their investment in the Indo-Pacific region. What is your comment? Do you think that it is challenging the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by China?

A: With regard to your first question, not long ago, Yang Jiechi, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee traveled to the ROK upon invitation, during which he held talks with ROK National Security Adviser Chung Eui-yong. The two sides exchanged views on China-ROK ties and other issues of mutual interest.

Regarding your second question, I have noted relevant reports. It is a good thing that the US, Japan and Australia are willing to increase their input in the infrastructure building of the region.

If my memory serves me correctly, this is not the first time for them to make this statement. As a Chinese saying goes, "talking the talk is not as good as walking the walk". We hope that the three countries can make substantial financial contributions and take more concrete steps to enhance the connectivity of the region and help the regional countries with their development.

The Chinese side is willing to continue to follow the principles of openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation to maintain communication and coordination with all relevant parties and make concerted efforts with them to enhance the connectivity and promote the economic growth of the region.

All like-minded countries are welcome to take part in the Belt and Road Initiative.

To make it up, you use coercion. Like economic, political and military blackmails.

The Us should focus on building the wall. ( if Trump ever get the money from Senate )
If you broke , dont show a penny.. its just embarrassing like you openly declare im broke to the World

.
$113 million for the entirety of Indo-Pacific? LOL!

If this is their (non-existing) sol-called Indo-Pacific strategy, I think it will not even generate scholarly interest before being sent to the dustbin of dead ideas.

Indeed, US shows how broke they are. If I am West Pacific country, I will seriously believe that the US has gone bonkers.

. .
The US would have been broke since 1971 if hadn't have their 1000 military bases and dozen AC all over the world. Now, even that is not any help anymore.
Germany and Nato would concede to Trump to increase military spending as part of the trade deal.

.

The director of the ****ing CIA said this.

OH MY GOD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Fattie Pompeo should offer up their dirty records to these countries instead. Maybe borrow another $113 million from China so they can lend it to the families of people they killed in Indochina.

More important than money is the goodwill of American people. Deutschland verdankt Amerika viel.

American goodwill has soaked into the soil of your country, killing your children until today. Wow, such praiseworthy people.
