This is true..... I have been following local politics for some time....... But never seen so much of enthusiasm from BJP, their rallies were at par with that of udf or ldf if not better..... Was in strong hold of IUML on 13th, and got to see all the 3 alliances rallies, and i thought the best was BJP..... But will it result in vote???? will have to wait and watch..... It is certain that there will be a significant increase in vote share, but it will be interesting to see where the get the additional from.......

The vote share in current election will cross 22%, if they can continue to work their way up they can very well cross 30% by 2019. Meanwhile i had the local MLA visit me asking for votes The guy has been visiting everyone in the locality

It clearly seems by these messages that the election is being made Modi vs rest in Kerala- a win for BJP in a state where It had no significance- even It doesn't manage any electoral gains It is slowly emerging as the opposition there- who dares speak the ugly truth-

It is not bihar or UP, People here have clear understanding about politics and current affairs..... We as a community is one of the most self criticizing one in the country ...Here the logic of "Publicity" wont work....Negative publicity will be taken as negative..... and Modi got into a trap.... But i guess he would have thrashed the negative publicity in his usual style. he had the opportunity too.... But some how he did not......

I would also add this point about remittance and how Mallus are keeping up for themselves by working for other people- The Degradation is quiet clear for those who want to look- A state which staked roman Gold by exporting spices, rubber etc- have now come at surviving on remittances- Kerala always have had enough wealth to keep up for Itself and 4 other Southern states-

After what i am seeing, am not so sure, an increase of votehsare from 14% in 2014 to 22% in 2016 is huge, if they keep this up....

As per exit polls , vote share seems to be 22-28% , we will soon find out anyway...

Something is better than Nothing i agree......It will take time to read in to vote share, as Kerala you have huge population which are neutral and changes their preferences every 5 years..... So one had to wait for some more time to come to a conclusion....... If BJP eat into the traditional vote shares of UDF/LDF then that could be significant if they manage to retain it.....

As per exit polls , vote share seems to be 22-28% , we will soon find out anyway...

If that become 22% then you are heading towards a hung assembly (without reading too much in to the seats sharing of exit polls)

if that is the case Kunjappa will rule the state irrespective of the party in power

I will be more interested to see the growth of vote shares in the constituencies where Modi was present...... How much growth does he bring is to be watched...... Though his rallies were supposed to be telecasted by every news channel, there was hardly any channel which gave live coverage..... So the impact should be on the constituencies at least......
