Exactly, if you personally ask me, I will be the first person to oppose getting married twice to anyone from my circle or not. Unless in exceptional case. In either case the choice cannot be restricted. More appropriate case would have been banning burqa or niqaab, which is more of a social custom than religious decree

This should be left to the women to decide themselves, it doesn't affect anyone else, not the family, not the husband not the society. If they chose to wear it their choice, if they wish not to their choice (considering alternate choice would be modest)

About the religious right, that is what indian state also says. It is a right as per religion and not a religious practice. Practising of religion is enshrined in our constitution, not religious rights, they can be curtailed.

Example - it is your religious right to eat houbara bustard as it is halal, but the state of pakistan curtails that right of yours by declaring them protected. See, no problem.
