I think terrorists/proxies and india is the same.

Just like India can’t blame us for not having enough Toilets for their people, we cannot blame them for not having the healthcare facilities, dams, clean drinking water and better education in Pakistan.

Pakistan could have been the next Singapore of South Asia but Stupid establishment allowed Nawaz & Zardari to destroy Pakistan including the curse of 18 amendment.

It’s still not too late to fix things. Human development is the main way to fix things. High standard education, better equipped healthcare facilities (clinics, hospitals, pharmacies).

nexus of politicians MaslihaqHQ and judiciary! this nexus of corruption and greed is what will bring and end to Pakistan! Godforbids!
This guy was ahead of his time.

I used to hate his guts, being a faujeet and all.

@Mirzali Khan

Economic Default.

State the reasons. Economic default doesn't happen on it's own. Even shithole countries have functional, albeit sub-optimal economies.

Internal political bickering aside, Pakistan's biggest issue is economic collapse which is a result of major underlying issues such as :

Overpopulation putting strain on resources, specially food and water. Pakistan is now importing even wheat and pulses. Imports are increasing every year due to population rise.

Flooding of domestic market by cheap Chinese products resulting in total collapse of domestic industry. Pakistan imports even basic products like toys, buckets, rubber slippers from China. If you can't make mobile phones, at least try to make their plastic covers within the country. It's completely unsustainable. Other industries are dominated by the Army and no private business can compete with them.

Complete collapse of export industry due to CPEC. CPEC brought in IPPs which promised cheap electricity; but produced the costliest electricity in the region. Extremely high capacity charges for unused electricty has meant that Pakistan provides costliest electricity to it's industries. Electricity is a major raw material in many industries such as textile, rubber, glass, medical equipment, steel etc. Pak cannot compete with others in the region.

Desertification due to overexploitation of ground-water. Arable land is being converted to housing colonies which would be a crime anywhere else in the world. While India is exporting record amounts of wheat, Pakistan is begging world-food aid program for wheat. A mass famine is jsut one failed crop away. (In fact Indian govt. has already created a contingency plan on how to deal with famine-mass-migrant influx from it's "western borders")

Extremely poor education system. Pakistani doctors/nurses are banned by many countries because they've only paper degrees, engineers are extremely useless. A post-graduate in Pakistan usually has equilant knowledge to India's school graduate. Lack of education hurts in every sphere at every level. Pak has the worst education system in the subcontinent except Afg.

Previously, most of Pakistan power plant still uses oil and LNG which is expensive. Actually China is building power plant in Pakistan by using coal as the energy source, this is much efficient than oil and LNG based power plants.

Pakistan electricity penetration is still very low, the problem is the investment is not large on the transmission system.

So we are seeing surplus electricity which is the result of low investment in the transmission system.

I request the members not to turn this into a trolling festival.

When you start a stupid topic then you'll get trolled

The hell is the point of a poll. We all know what the cancer is.

It's cute how people here all think this was due to negligence.

This was all designed by the GHQ. They need :

1. Cheap labour (over population)

2. Dumbed down society (poor education system)

3. Distractions (political bickering/TTP)

This was all designed from day 1 when Zia took power. Pakistan before him wasn't any better, but it was at least on a slow winding path to normalcy.

After Zia, the seeds were planted.

Before the 90s, everyone attended government schools. The advent of private schools began when Zia implemented his education reforms in the 80s.

After 1982, government schools prioritized stuffing student’s minds with paranoia, parochialism, and hyper-religiosity.

Students were seen as "young foot soldiers" to preserve and protect a praetorian, ideological state of which they could eventually become a part.

To produce students with empathy, moral sense, and capacity to reason independently was not just unnecessary, it was undesirable. Rarely were students told to respect a queue, obey traffic rules, and desist from littering. Exam cheating and degree buying, though widespread, was not decried as a moral crime.

Machoism was promoted as a virtue, not treated as a disease. Nowhere was a student taught to appreciate those who are different culturally, ethnically, religiously, in physical appearance, or perhaps ability-disability.

Families with money almost immediately withdrew from government schools because of this reason, and by the 90s the era of private schools began.
