If Syria is innocent, I think that will end the air strikes if they continue. Israel bombed Syria, not the other way around. At the UN Syria would say this is retaliation against aggression since Israel use air launched cruise missiles and strike from outside the envelope of SAM and Russia refuses to deliver MiG-29 M / M2 Syria paid for before the war to prevent Syria intercept Israel planes in the air.

They have few SRBM not in hundreds of the them and SAA guns is less accurate than SAM, all Syrian SAMs is old vintage tech from 60/70/80 not modern SAM like S-300/400 is which is easily jam by F-16/F-15 @undertakerwwefan

Ballistic missiles are easily built in underground factories. Distance between Israel and Deir es Zor 500 km is too far for air launched cruise missiles. Germany built thousands of V-2 under daily carpet bombing.

Do they actually work and do they have the quantity and quality for effective defense? I doubt it. If a few BMs get through to Tel-Aviv it will send shock waves through Israel and they will go running to the US for war. US is already unpopular with Russia and China and has made far too many enemies than friends and any new conflagration would be too costly and the US public does not have the appetite for more wars, even though their Zion masters do.
