Interestingly, now PTI leaders are openly calling Mir Bajwa a traitor in public, which is a very good sign.
They need to push public narrative into accountability of Bajwa both into his financial corruption and his role in regime change operation.

Nothing doing on the "regime change" issue. Even IK has moved on from this episode and all the military has to do is rely on the constitutional move around VoNC as the reason for ousting IK's government. They have to defend nothing else.

On the issue of financial records, mind you I am not calling it corruption just yet because all of the information we have is from government tax records and these records also include those of others in the extended Bajwa family. Keep in mind, If there is corruption, usually it is hidden as was disclosed in the Panama papers etc. So all that the government needs to do is trace back the funding reported in the tax returns to find out whether it came from the sale of government allotted real estate or some other streams.

As I have stated in another thread, no CoAS should be given multiple plots etc. This entire practice has to be curtailed with retiring general staff officers perhaps just getting a plot for their own residence to build on with their own money.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. In western law it only takes probably cause to initiate investigation, detain or use it as a valid reason to administratively suspend a govt official.

Now Bajwa actions during regime change (Dereliction of duty) and his family assets beyond means as reported by investigative journalist is more than enough to start a high level probe into his dealings. He served as a COAS, how did he even slip through the cracks, it raises questions over the integrity of the military (promotion/vetting ) system. Any western country would have approached this as a national security issue.
