What human civilization?
Nice analysis...however what makes a meteor strike any different from a nuclear war
it'll be hard for the virus to kill much of humanity: once everyone in a region dies, the virus is gone, and if things get too bad: shoot the sick.
A possible meteor strike will shadow the earth by dust particles for 4,5 decades. Without direct contact of sunlight most vegetation would die, followed by animals. Microbes will survive though.
It's hard to quarantine a place in todays world, but if it comes to that then a possible use of tactical nuclear weapon can't be ruled out to contain the virus.
Man I love zombie movies!
Yes however there is a possibility that some could survive .life is continuous thing, if everything would have been destroyed by the meteor strike that happened 65 million year ago, we would have not been there now
Resident Evil is a bad example of Zombie movies, I like the British ones better!
which one... i am already bored time for some ********

What is the virus travels through air. Pandemonium in the affected areas will cause the infected peope to introduce the virus to other weather systems and potentially the virus can be everywhere on the planet.
Never underestimate the stupidity of our species in our quest to be more clever.
