A brawl was witnessed between the supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and police in Islamabad during an anti-rigging rally called by the party on Friday.
All roads leading to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) were sealed and heavy numbers of security personnel were deployed on the routes.
According to reports, the protesters tried to enter the Red Zone on which the police started retaliating. The PTI supporters attacked the cops with batons due to which one police officer was wounded. They burned tyres and chanted slogans against election rigging.
