Police killed suicide bomber

This news has now prooved to be a conspiracy theory,
the encounter was not fake, the terrorist was genuine shot under genuine circumstances.

.
IG of Islamabad is appointy of rehman malik and a could prove key pin.
From long time, he is facilitating lot of anti Pakistan activities.
He should be taken in for remand.

.
According to different stories being told in Islamabad the encounter seems to be fake.

.
I alrewady said as soon as that news of killing the man terming him a suicide bomber, when you guys were jumping over it my first comment was " Suicide biomber or the police had killed an innocent man in panic"

At that very moment i said it seems the police had killed an innocent man and i do not believe in this statment by police. But most of you were terming me taliban supporter.

Now take seat back and enjoy the fake killing of an innocent man.

emo-girl do you remember you asked me "JJ tay wo naray kis baat ka laga raha tha"

. .
I heard all top police officers are hidding in Islamabad including IGP punjab and they have changed their numders too.My two class fellows are SSP's in punjab and sindh

If this news is true , if they are afraid and hidding then how they will protect people.

Infact we need to totally restructure over security forces including army but again our civil courts also need remodeling.

Next step will the revenue , customs , finance and banking, health, education sectors.

Member parliments were selected to do these reformes but they are busyin looting public money:D

. .
Let this be proven first instead of accepting this as open fact.
We all give in to conspiracy theories immediately...let the facts come out, let there be more hue and cry in the concerned circles and an investigation if the courts feel that this is indeed all fake.
Till then, please hold your horses.

I see this daily and i am quite astonished at what we have been doing.
One fool would start an sms chain about any conspiracy and within 24 hours millions would be seriously taking it as a fact and citing it in their daily conversations.
Does Islam not ask us to verify the facts first instead of resorting to allegations?
Whereas the police has always been ridiculed by the nation, are they not the concerned authority?

We are trusting a journalist trying to sell a sensational story and we are doing this without any proper inquiry into this whole affair by any party.
This is all extremely immature...

One funny thing the journalist has written to cover his sorry behind is about the person most likely a terrorist but captured earlier...how to prove this that the person was not captured before he was shot, without witnesses other than the police?
And if some witness does support the police then that too would be called a cover up?
If the word of the agencies is always doubted 100% then this too leads to nothing good.

I repeat the news as quoted by the nation...

"The incident of killing a suspected suicide bomber by police in the Federal Capital on Sunday night was actually a fake police encounter and was engineered to establish good repute of cops, TheNation reliably learnt on Monday."

So does the nation have a reliable confession in hand?
Do they have eyewitness accounts of how a captured person was shot by Police?
Do they have confirmed ID and eyewitness accounts of how few days ago this person was captured and who captured him?
If so then who is stopping them from approaching the courts since they are confident of their reliable information?
What stupid way to spread an allegation as a fact and causing further chaos!
If the nation does not provide any of the above then it is yellow journalism at its best...lets wait and see how much credibility backs up this claim.

.
Ahhh the hidden sources...ever reliable voices of reason which whisper facts to us...i would take this news with a pinch of salt...so many policemen have stopped vehicles laden with explosives at the cost of their lives...if for once they have killed someone on the spot then why suspect them without any evidence to the contrary?

Yes it would be nice to get more updates on this story. Sometimes these things just disappear and are never talked about again.

Indeed it would be nice to know these hidden sources :D

p.s. If this ends up being bs, please lets make sure we write to The News and give them an earful.

.
Considering the number policemen killed it is obvious they
will be trigger happy. It my advice to behave very carefully
if stopped by police. If u behave suspeciously they will shoot first and check later. Remember what happened in London tube station killing of a Brazilian, the condition there was no where near as bad.
Just put yourself in their shoes. Poor family, low salary, only bread earner and high risk of Taliban attack.

.
What about the news that the policeman who shot the suicide bomber was given promotion !!!
Is the encounter really fake ??? there will be always conspiracy theories due to which no one will know the fact and every one will remain confused !!!

.
I am sorry, but did you miss the explosives being defused? I feel the objective of the images was not to show the dead terrorist, but the explosives he was carrying, since there was skepticism over whether the individual was a suicide bomber.

Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) has exonerated the police of any wrongdoing in gunning down a man in the capital last week. A number of questions remain unanswered. According to the police, the man was dropped off by a double-cabin vehicle and ran towards a checkpoint. He was shot down as, apparently, policemen on the scene feared he was a suicide bomber. The IGP, Islamabad initially stated that the man had been taken out by a sharpshooter. He then retracted his statement after subsequent reports showed that the man was shot from three sides and hit by nine bullets.

There are other reasons to doubt the police version: the vehicle that dropped off the ‘suicide bomber’ got away; the body was buried hurriedly and no photograph was released to the press. Moreover, the man was alive for a while after the shooting but, according to the police, did not detonate the explosives because the triggering mechanism of his suicide jacket ‘malfunctioned’. Most importantly, the inquiry committee did not wait for Nadra to identify the ‘suicide bomber’ through his fingerprints, before arriving at the conclusion that ‘the occurrence was genuine’.

The inquiry has failed to address suspicions that the incident was staged — little is proved by the mere fact that the man was wearing a suicide jacket. A proper judicial inquiry is therefore in order. Unless the matter is fully investigated by an impartial and competent forum, it could become a chilling precedent for security personnel to shoot first and ask questions later. Such pretexts could be used to cover up extra-judicial killings and ‘encounters’ which police in the country are known to stage. Times are tough for the country’s law-enforcement agencies, but giving them unfettered and unquestioned power is dangerous. The process of the law must be followed in all cases.

What stupid logic is DAWN using? Do people other than suicide bombers wear suicide jackets?

.
And he had a suicide jacket there for fun?

For heaven sake. He doesnt have any neither the explosive put beside him by the police.

Anyway ask the reporter of The Nation newspaper. The paper and the report still stand by their story about this fake encounter.
