Although India claimed to be a successful nuclear power but after 11 years they accepted that Indian thermo nuclear device was not successful. India is now not allowed to test a nuke after deal with USA. It means India will never have a successful nuclear bomb.

Actually most of the Indian nuclear business is with Russia and France. India has not made any promises to anybody.

if you would have seen the video he talks about just the thermonuclear device not the fission one. it was already success. And who said that we cannot test after the nuke deal with US. we are still free to do when we think that we have the right time and we are prepared for it.

GoI said that Indian thermonuclear test was full success. And that is 12 years back. After that long time have passed we have milestones in nuclear technologies.....

1) India is a partner in International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor.

2) India makes its own reactors like AHWR, PWR etc. We are in talk with other countrries for exports.

3) We have some of the best nuclear physics research facilities in the world.

4) We make nuclear reactor for our submarine.

You need to know the difference between fission device and thermonuclear device. Fission devices are just enough to cause irrecoverable damage to countries without strategic "depth" or "width". Fission devices are first test by India in 1974. Thermonuclear devices are for big guys like china, Australia, U.S, Russia, etc

I have seen in many threads today pakistani members who don't like India tryin to open threads with Indian failurs that too one's which are dead also ............ I think these ppl are just tryin to boost there morale after wikileak fiasco on a positive note rather tryin to open these dead threads they should try discussin current topics..................................welll all my advise is off topic but wanted to share it

if India needs to test thermonuclear device.... it can test in nuclear war
even if fails, the initial fission device will do its role

Why whole India is so keen of nuclear war?
Army chief, public, politicians almost every one.

I'm afraid india's recent push for taking French, German and American aid in making atombomb would turn into an example of bald man scratching his head with nails.
