JF-17 is not the right kind of Jet for the Navy. If indeed they are interested in having an air wing of their own, they should start looking at the J-11. PN does not have an aircraft carrier and they need planes that have the range and payload capacity to hit Indian assets. JF-17 lacks in both the range and payload capacity.

COme on The US didn't buy aircraft from other countries they went made their own. WHy is it so difficult for PAkistan do the same. Even if the JF-17 export didn't go so well (everyone has a downside) , it still has some potential. The f16 has many VAriants so can the Jf-17 thunder
DOn't let PAkistan depentant with other countries let it stand on its own two feet.
I agree that pakistan navy should have its own air fleet I would add that Pakistan should have Heavy bombers to have the ability carry heavy ordnance against major heavy ships like Aircraft carriers cruisers.
