The Punjab you’re defending was invented by the British in 1849 by merging territories into the province with complete disregard for language and identity and history.
British Punjab (like British India) was a fake colonial invention.
The thousands of years of Punjab stretches back to the Rig Veda when Punjab was called Saptha Sindhu (translates basically into Land of 7 Rivers).
What is now Central Punjab along with Indian Punjab was the real Punjab. Everything else was clumped together over time, especially during British rule.
Even the Mughal maps shows this as Subah Lahore and Subah Multan.

And you are nobody to tell the people of Multan or Southern Punjab that their identity and language don’t matter or don’t exist.
I for one support Seraiki identity full stop and it should be celebrated and recognized.
Rather than trying to give voices to Pakistan’s various languages, cultures and people, you seem more interested in usurping and disregarding them.
A poet from chakwal summed up your chawaliyaan couple centeries ago
Since you probably won't understand what he is saying I'll translate "from peshawar to Jamna from chamb to dera Ghazi speak, people speak punjabi recite my true poetry"
Punjab started with Brits lamo - Punjab means land of the five rivers
Ibn Battuta diary
When Mongols came to Punjab Ghakars for the most part stopped them in potahar and Khokhars after some time repulsed them from Multan as they were the one's who conquered Delhi for tughlaqs and did their dastaar bandi/crowning ceremony made them kings and then afterwards took care of the mongol problem for them
- you know how's that relvent - khokhars are one of the oldest clans and are present in both Multan and Central Punjab and potahar - what you are saying is all these regions with shared clans are different and deserve to be treated as something totally different
- in those historical writings they called Ghakar held regions who stopped mongol incursions "upper Sindh sagar doab" and multan lower Sindh sagar doab
So again yet another baloney
Another poetry - Mian Muhammad Bhakhsh from mirpur appreciating the old poet's- some of these poets are from what you consider as saraiki regions
Why TF is a poet from mirpur understanding and appreciating Thier poetry?
So yeah you're wrong
