What's new

PML-N, PPP agree to resign from National Assembly

they arent resigning..its says in the news, PPPP will keep sindh assembly and will probably get most of it federal seats back in by election

what is really happening in establishment is real question..is a deal been made..i am sure PPPP is unaware of it..otherwise they would have resigned from sindh assembly too

Thanks for reading the actual news...I couldn't be bothered but I appreciate your efforts at not being a blind man like the rest of the folks on here...

So my name is a Conspiracy theory? :partay:

I must admit....it put me in a confused state of mind too when I read it 7 years ago...

I still think it's a contradictory name. :partay:

That is your personal puzzle to solve. Seek help

Well, at least he ain't spotting a one eyed pic. :D

Between agnostic muslims and those who believe in one eyed creatures....I think I'll bring out popcorn and not pick my side. :partay:

The name was meant to pique curiosity and interest.

Wait … does that make it a conspiracy theory?

PPP won't risk the alliance for a short term benefit. It's not like PPP is betraying PMLN, they know they will not be able to form govt in fed in next 10 years atleast. So they can let go the NA seats. Best in Sindh provincial assembly they will again win in 2023. So why risk the continuity of your power
PPP has six seats outside of Sindh and thats nothing :D Also even if all opposition resigns byelections can be held in NA and PA,s
Also I dont think nani realizes but not all under her banner are completely with her as many would backtrack when push comes to shove. They might just give resignation to Mariyam but Asad Qaiser wont get anything :D
3 provincial governments
Seraiki province is still on the cards

if the Punjab assembly dissolves(which i dont know how)..it doesn't affect the federal govt, that is what i am saying..

there only two ways for this govt to go early..

either establishment ask them to leave
or they bring a no confidence movement

that it, Punjab provincial assembly PRESENCE doesnt matter
yes but dissolution of any of provincial government before Senate Election would mean constituency for Senate election would not remain intact, therefore provincial election would be required to be conducted on the immediate basis which mean during the time of election campaign opposition would have a chance to destabilise the system by introducing anarchy, as it will suit their to narrative; it is in the interest of PTI and PPP that system stay intact and remain in working condition, this is the reason why PPP support in-house change, while PML-N support dissolution of assemblies.

BTW currently they are considering to resign only from National Assembly but even if they resign from provincial assemblies this would NOT constitute the justifiable reason to impose the Emergency at Federal level (as rumoured by some media personals) or Governor Raj at Provincial level .....

TBH Zardai is a clever and crude politician in comparison to the gullible idiot Nawaz. He will definately use this to his advantage due to his neutral stance in regards to the Military.

Pakistani people are not stupid they know the drama Nawaz played in the last few years faking his illness to run to London while thousands of people died from COVID. Zardari/Bilawal played it mature spoke when they had to in a fashion that made them the mature opposition in the public eyes. While Nawaz, his daughter, and his family where cursing the military at the Quaids moseleum Bilawal projected himself as a nationalist politician willing to compromise for national interest. In retrospect gaining the respect of even his politican enemies.

If elections are held today the PML-N would be wiped clean. PTI and PPP would gain 90% of the lost PML-N seats. PPP has a strong chance in gaining many seats in Balochistan, KP, and make a comeback as well in Punjab but all at the expense of the PML-N. PTI will end up as the largest party in punjab, continue to run the govt in KP, GB and Balochistan by proxy. PPP emerges as the key opposition and has a chance to further soliditfy itself going into 2024 and actually maybe have a chance at coming to power at a national level post 2030.

But I stand to say that IK is the dominant political force in Pakistan and if fair election were held today he would sweep more seats and most likely even form a govt on his own, same will be said for the situation in the 2023 elections. Dont forget 10% of the seats are always dominated by independant candidates. IKs sheer personal popularity has been a magnet for all of these independants who end up joining PTI post elections similar to the GB elections and elections held in 2018. PPP has a bad reputation but slowly getting better but I see them slowly rebuilding themselves as a national party.

If I was Zardari at the moment I would use the PDM to completely wipe out PML-N from politics and use it to gain more seats at there expense.

Wait … does that make it a conspiracy theory?

who knows....Pakistanis love conspiracy theories. I don't. I like cold hard facts.

So tell me, what is your faith? Your school of thought?

Disputed? No they will be delayed due to by elections
