The irony is surely lost on you here. How can a party with a "for-life" leader be a democratic party itself?
No, sir, it is not lost on me. This is not an ideal state of affairs- unfortunately this (a party being the private property of an individual or a clan) is a norm for the whole subcontinent, not just Pak. With the exception of the greens, the saffrons and the reds.
But I suspect MNS wudnt have had himself crowned the quaid for life had it not been for an unwarranted interference by an external, undemocratic, unaccountable judiciary acting on the behalf of the Deep State. The judiciary has every right to disqualify MNS from holding a constitutional post, but disqualifying him from a post in a party which swears by him seems so wrong. In that sense, it is a good comeback by MNS.
