PM reaffirms to do everything for modernisation of Bangladesh army

They also need training to get used to flying those aircrafts. Like I said, there is a specific number of all aircrafts that are assigned for training.

And Bangladesh doesn't have any trainers with supersonic abilities, thus Mig-29 and Mig-21 (J-7) are used. The later is very old and chances of accidents are high.

They did that with the Mig-29s.
getting used to and training are different issues

. .
You need your pilots to get used to supersonic aerobatics to perform them. It's best to use a trainer that can reach such speeds than a fighter jet.
by that logic how can pilots fly fighter jets over 2 mach speed since there is no such trainer ? as i said stupid

Mach 2 and Mach 1.4+ aren't that different when it comes to aerobatics. Also, we were looking for a light combat aircraft while we bought the Yak-130. We considered it to be a multi-purpose aircraft. Good luck dodging missiles (MANPADS) with an aircraft that can't even reach Mach 1.

you have math problem, that is 735km/h difference  and i said not just only mach 2 but also over it

Well, in that case the version for it is used. Like the F-15 of Japan, Silent Eagle for combat and an inferior one for training.

It can't even reach Mach 1. Should have gone for the Chinese one L-15. Can reach over Mach 1 and can act as a Light Combat fighter jet.
How can one train soldiers with aircrafts that can't use afterburners or reach supersonic speeds because fighter jets seem to have both.

Ever heard of the term "Fighter Conversion Unit" ???:coffee:
They are designated as FT or UB model in BAF. That's where they get their supersonic fighter compatibility training.:coffee:

Each and every air force has their own training doctrine. As BD don't aim to be a massive air power their training doctrine follows that path. After training at advanced fighter trainer like yak 130,pilots will require less training hours in FCU and they will be capable to operate multiple platforms starting from mig 35 to su 35 even some western platforms. The training distribution will be like

First Primary Trainer --> IJt -->90% in AJT --> 10% in FCU.

Means for every 100 hour training flight, after trained for 90 Hour in yak 130 pilots will only need 10 hour in FCU.

They also need training to get used to flying those aircrafts. Like I said, there is a specific number of all aircrafts that are assigned for training.

A yak 130 can mimic the characteristics of all the Russian fighter jets and even some western one. Yak-130 is undoutedly the best training platform available nowadyas even comparing the western platforms.

Try to read something about the training modules of various air force and associated platforms.

with the current level of spending, i thing Bangladesh is doing a great jobs. Every year new inventory is been inducted and the three service is being upgraded with decent equipment and their level of training and exercises is been on rising with every passing year.

Surely not many people will be grateful with the current policy of the current Bangladesh government, but as an outsider i am always thought Bangladesh Armed Forces right now is exercising a right path toward major modernization. You just can't made everybody happy

Airforce has inducted 57 aircraft and helicopters since 2011

16 x F-7BG1

16 x Yak-130

9 X K-8W

3 x Let 410

8 x Mi-171Sh

1 x MI171E

2 x AW-139

2 x HQ-7B

1 x YLC-6M Radar

I don't think that is the case. Yak is a great training platform. It's operational capability however is limited. These are simple points of facts..... Not criticisms

Well he is not thinking like that...

Step 1, get a decent Air Force to support the Army. And stop buying Mig-29s and Yak-130s
Whats wrong with MiG 29's and Yak 130's.

By all accounts Yak 130 is a very good trainer similar to the Hawk Mk132 that IAF and RAF use.

And also with MiG 29. Its a fantastic jet that is evolving. The IAF just upgraded its whole lot of MiG 29's to SMT standards and plan to use it for the next 15 years. It is an excellent plane for A2A combat, though deficient in A2G role.

The IN just bought new MiG 29K's, though the MiG 29K is a deeply modernized plane with even structural changes.
