You raise some valid points but the fact is there are few who have no dirt on their clothes ( Iss hamam may sub nungay hein). The Problem with MQM is their low life leader who runs the arty like a MAFIA DON, by eliminating opposition through CONTRACT KILLINGS and sits in UK demanding from MQM to send looted ( Bhatta Ghori ) Wealth to support his Alcoholic lifestyle that has given him Liver Disease. Anyone who supports this monster should have his head examined.

This why Mustafa Kamal and Anis Qaimkhani have escaped and run away form Pakistan.

Why would there be Civil war if the Parties lose democratically. Both these Parties did massive vote rigging in 2013 Elections. If Elections are held fairly, these two don't have a prayer because their constituency is tired of their antics.

What if the result surprises you? There is still clear support for the ethnic cause as it exists very clearly now.
Moreover, the PTI has performed miserably in its single seat in Karachi.. most of the less fortunate areas of NA_250 are in total disarray and doldrums.. and will probably swing total MQM next elections. The elite and employed class count very rare as they have little "interest" in elections other than it being a social status thing.

PPP has all ready lost support in urban areas of Sindh. But still many Sindhis would rather vote for PPP then ganja. Maybe PTI could provide another choice. MQM will generally hold its strong holds.

PTI lost a golden opportunity in Karachi. PTI has sided with parties like JI which has been rejected by people of Karachi. Also there is no way majority of Karachites would vote for a pro TTP party.

MQM has no appeal for many Karachites.

I am an Urdu speaking Karachite and MQM under Altaf Hussain is repugnant to me.

The only areas in Karachi that MQM has any support is Azizabad, Liaqatabad and some Bihari areas of Karachi.

Even they are looking elsewhere after people like Mustafa Kamal jumped ship from MQM Banner.

If the Elections are held fairly and no massive vote Stuffing takes place as in 2013 Election, PTI has a strong chance to carry substantial areas of Karachi.

Same is true for PPP in rural Sindh to some extent.

in a soceity of elites what choices you can get?
