India can and must learn from Israel if we are to thrive in a dangerous neighborhood

That it takes guts is a result of the sad state of minority appeasement in India.

ABV was too conciliatory and non-confrontational. He should have visited Israel, particularly after Kargil, when they helped us out. That is among my list of disappointments with ABV.

This visit should churn out a lot of deals in defence and otherwise, along with entertainment of reaction of opposition in India.

More importantly, once we have a PM who has done this, it makes it easier for others to follow.

Our foreign policy is matured .We are not that same India like that was in 1990s .
1.Narendra Modi knows the real value of Middle east and GCC .So a controversial episode would be a rare chance.

2.Of Course we have been launched their sats .But we also got the advanced tech for our RISAT.
3.India is a big market for Israel weapon exporters.At any case they need us more than the vice versa.So a stupid statement that can jeopardize our diplomatic relations would be disaster for Israel .I think they will keep a low profile during this visit.
4.We should more concerned about GCC and KSA because majority of Indians are in there not in Iran.
