I didn't understand what was circled on the plane.

It is an aircraft registration (country) code in India which starts with VT = Viceroy Territory since British Rule, followed by three letters (owners choice). International Civil Aviation Organisation commands such rules.

VT- indian registration code .means plane is registered in india
EVA- aeroplane registration #
