The speech was for overseas Pakistanis to push in dollars so that Pakistan can start building dam immediately and avoid begging to IMF in coming months.

Yes I did in past and as soon as speech over I did it again but that is If I want it or not. I am talking about you buy 100 rupees mobile card and activate it so soon as we activate new card it should cut 10 rupees automatically whether guy like it or not for dam. This is water we are talking about that will be beneficial to our generation in upcoming days I don't see any harm with this or anyone will oppose this move.

Wht Tax on every mobile card nly ? Why not simply improve our tax collection system ?

If only it was as simple as black and white. How exactly will we improve out tax collection system in a year of time and be able to redeem enough tax money from it to pay for a dam.

As a Pakistani resident I stand with the PM to tax us directly and continue the sms donation campaign for dam funds also. We have 4 crore 3G and 4G Active users. Place 100 rupees on tax on 4 crore 3G and 4G active users and you will have how much for dam in each month?

I may be calculating this wrong.

1 Crore has 7 zeros and 1 Billion has 9.


40000000(Crore) x 100 = 4000000000 (4 Billions) rupees per month.

If we continue this tax for 12 months we will have

4x12 = 48 Billions rupees in 1 year.

I was reading that we need about 20% of the total amount of the dam that is some what 44 Billion rupees for 1 dam.

Please correct me if my calculation is wrong

Guys we should send some Euros or dollar if possible instead of kronas. BTW.. I don't know we can do auto-giro because that has come from the company (recipient) but we can use online banking right from the comfort of our homes ..... I think
