What's new

PM Imran Khan has sent a message to establishment.... NO NRO

ik has no power to give or not give nro judiciary has to give judgement as culprits who are convicted by courts not by govt if ik says he will not give nro everytime it gives a feeling that govt influences judicial decisions he should simply say courts will decide fate of criminals and govt has no power to influence judiciary

.
In case you didn't fully grasp the topic at hand, your Chosen One has his hands tied and the best he can do is 'plead with the establishment'. And even if somehow he got free run of the country, here is his vision: making Pakistan a tourism hotspot that brings mountains of garbage and revelling party-goers, increasing trade with India so that our industry becomes dependent on Indian imports, advancing Bill Gates' Chicken Vision etc. Give him free reign and Pakistan will be the world leader in 'Ladyboy walk of shame' from which people return to their bed and breakfast to enjoy poached eggs in the morning. Meanwhile, India will become a condescending master because if its ability to control our economy.

BTW, if you didn't notice, your supreme leader has been completely silent on meaningful education. He will gladly give you 'universities' where mediocre teachers impart mediocre education while providing space to indulge in debauchery and further moral corruption.

Well deserved!

Well, let us see if and how his term in office brings any of things you mention.

.
if there will be no NRO then how game will be played in future ? do you guys want boring Pakistan
Issue is even if Army wanted too they won't Imran Khan followers unlike Nawaz and Zardari followers will show no mercy to Army. They are way more abusive and Army will loose all the reputation they have build after Musharraf

.
What Pakistan and Pakistanis approach should is as follows:

"There shall be NO nro for ANYONE. Full accountability will be extracted from EVERYONE found corrupt. After Nawaz Sharif, it's the turn of all those who are associated with him, which includes his family and associates (both political and business, and both domestic and international). The same time, the same extraction of accountability for Zardari, his associates and family who are corrupt. Imprisonment for all of those who are found guilty, doesn't matter which party. Then the law enforcement, then the judiciary, then the civil service and so on. The people of Pakistan MUST stand united, aware, and educate themselves armed with knowledge to support JUSTICE. If Imran Khan is honest and carrying out his duties as Prime Minister, support him. Stand for JUSTICE, and unite as one, as MUSLIMS. Learn what it is to be a Muslim and stand firm on seeking knowledge. Know that Knowledge ONLY comes from Allah. Be critical of all information which is designed to sow seeds of doubt and division. And know that enemies swarm against us, and our only FRIEND IS ALLAH."

What if he sets things up so it happens in the next decade or two? A leader without vision will screw you for the long term even if he gives you success in the short term.

.
Nawaz Sharrif will be out of the country in few months maybe in a year's time, there is immense pressure both from Establishment and some GCC countries who have a habit of interfering in Pakistan.

That is true, but that is why I included the "how" in how he would manage to do any of things you mentioned. I would say, for now, that he is unlikely to even lay the foundations of such long term changes. The inertia of the society that he would like to think he leads is simply too great to be reversed in any meaningful way.

Then the law enforcement, then the judiciary, then the civil service and so on.

Interesting that the military is not mentioned in your list, and even the "so on" is dead last for accountability. The military is perhaps the most culpable group right up there with the corrupt politicians it has brought into power time and again. Why ignore them and their shenanigans?

How about the recent 'liberties' for the third genders? And this was followed by removing visa restrictions. Back circa 2008, CIA agents had free access to Pakistan and we know what kind of security situation we had. With terrorists from Afghanistan still not fully under control, what is the basis for opening up this new visa regime? Do we have facilities to manage a huge influx of tourists? His overtures with India have already started. Trade is one of the first things that would be discussed. It has been bandied about in discussions as well, with absolutely no discussion of economic security.

But the most damning aspect is that he is simply a continuation of 'Western stamped' rulers we get. Zardari, imported from London. Nawaz Sharif, imported from London. Imran Khan, imported from London. Bilawal Bhutto, imported from London. Malala Yousufzai, import in making. There is a clear pattern which even the blind can 'see' if you describe the situation. And people are cheering him on blindly!

I understand your concerns, but rest assured there will be no sudden or huge influx of tourists any time soon. The third gender issue is more about according equal civil rights to natural born Pakistani citizens and will remain limited in its social impact simply because the numbers of such individuals are so small.

And let us not forget the lady by his side and her right wing influence.

No right wing people are getting impressed by his lady. And the third gender issue is another example of how he is forwarding a foreign agenda. Why do I say this? Because my CEO here in Australia very recently commented, "I don't understand all this focus on transgender rights. Why are they making so much noise for such a small part of the population?" This thing is global and it is disgusting that a Muslim nation is following in the footsteps of foreign powers.

This message from IK was for the people in PTI pushing for NRO.

Apparently he has told some ministers to leave the party if they continue to insist on giving NRO.

There is no hidden agenda in offering equal protection of civil rights of every citizen. And the first lady's exhibitory religious appearance does influence many.
