Because India is stealing from Pakistan.
India diverting water from Pakistan and not giving due share is causing veggie price hikes.

I am sorry I had to say this: "Indians are the most jahill quom in the entire planet" ....and I am saying this as an Indian. Can't change the facts.
not really market machanism plays important role in pricing! we have mandi system (open market trading) so when purchasing is high auction prices go up and vice versa.Profit mafia.
Unfortunately this is what happen in Ramadan.
IK is working hard to get Pakistan rid of such trash people but he is facing tough resistance even from zombies who have been brainwashed so to put pressure on IK and fail him.
Sometime I feel our awaam deserve such mafia because they don't wanna sacrifice few years under honest people for their future generations.

Why are you converting in dollars?
Are farmers get money in dollars?
And they sell the product in dollars?
Read my 1st post, properly.. Thank you
Because of new government policies, there is almost negligible black money that a developer takes now. Earlier it was about 30%. Now max 5%.Property is expensive. I agree. It's a nightmare to think about purchasing property in big Indian cities. May be because of all that black money that inflates the price.
Let it be clear and legible...

Yes...100 sq.yds(100 gaz) is 900 sq.feet.
1 Kanal(used in Lahore and Punjab) is 600 sq.yards.
1 marla=25.25 yds. (used in Punjab)
So a 7 marla home equals 175 sq.yds in Lahore or other towns of Punjab.
All sane Indians should be embarrassed by the likes of Arnab Goswami, Sudheer Chaudhary, and other similar TV news anchors.
Independent media or web media seems to be sage and sane, like the Print, the Wire, the Scroll, and in mainstream NDTV is good.
No wonder many Indians call NDTV as a Pakistan mole in India or propagating Pakistan viewpoint.
The Hindu is also good and some other media. But was reading about 60% of media houses are controlled by BJP and this is one reason you see a huge deterioration in their content and substance, to get more TRP's Pakistan bashing and Muslims bashing is preferred and that includes the Hindu liberals and seculars.
So these are the sources where I get most of my Indian news from. Unbelievably, Defence PK is now one of my sources for getting news from India.
While all these channels you mentioned are OK, they cover Narendra Modi too much in a positive light. So, that's not ok with me
I prefer National Herald India (of course, it is owned by Rahul Gandhi, so that is the reason they are consistently, and 100% anti-Narendra Modi, anti-BJP, anti-Sangh).
Also, Telegraph is 100% anti-BJP
The Hindu is mostly anti-BJP
Yes a different and dissenting viewpoint and not what you see in Indian media more often than not.
Bookmarked National Herald India and Telegraph, smaller entities are doing better than the big media houses...
Hi All,
I m very curious to know "why the prices are almost 1.5 to 2.0 % high in Pakistan"?
I could understand only below two points:
1. Imported items will be High because purchased in dollars. Because of the rupees values, price will be high if compare to India.
2. For international tourists, Pakistan will be cheaper due to rupees values.
3. Living cost will be cheaper if calculation will be based on dollars (not rupees).
But I failed to understand, why the prices are high if I talk about fruits, vegetables and glossary item's I.e wheat, rice and sugar etc.
A common Pakistani or Indian gets salary/money in rupees ( not in dollars).
Could anyone explain pls without trolling?
I don't like The Print because a guy I know is a senior reporter there/or used to work (not keeping track). He was very rabid pro-Modi.
Shekhar Gupta, the editor (and owner I think) of Print is a closet Sanghi. He spends much effort trying to legitimize the hate propagated.
