China make product you can afford and Vietnamese should send China a thank you note.

You can always buy German, Japan or French if you guys have too much monies to sponsor the social securities of their workers.

There is no short of good products. No want is stopping you to buy TGV, Shinkansen, Ferrari, BMW, LV, Prada....etc.

Viet officials are facing a deadlock .
They do not want to buy Chinese products and Viet does not have too much budget for this , but our price is the most competitive one.

The D19E diesel-electric locomotive, manufactured in Gia Lam locomotive factory, in corporation with Chinese Tư Dương factory (I do not know its Chinese name) is the mainstream locomotive in all lines (D19E in narrow gauge line and D19Er in standard gauge lines) in Vietnam, after the D20 diesel-electric locomotive with same capacity, imported from Germany, proved to be too expensive to buy and even more expensive to maintain.

The country needs metro railways ASAP. Due to tight budget the only cost effective choice right now is China.

Just use your bicycles and trees for transportation.

Cars are replacing motorcycles in VN. By encouraging public transportation it will reduce gridlock and congestion. And avoid the mistakes of other countries like Jarkata, Indonesia which has no metro railway but a lot of cars.

The main reason is similar culture. About the Chiense-Vietnamese marriage, Chinese-Korean marriage etc...the second generation has already been integrated into local school and social life. The children won't be considered as foreigner.
