It's probably an SCO operation against ETIM, supported by USA, Turkey and India.

Combat operations begin!

ETIM has a base in rebel-controlled Syria. Time for drone and cruise missile strikes!

China long retaliate thru PKK proxy war. Wondering why PKK in few months ago declared cease fire over? Peshmerga getting stronger in syria area and ready to absorb kurds and land from Turkey. Erdogan is playing with fire. We will let the fire burn out of control. Playing with fire also has a consequence.

Liaoning Aircraft Carrier Battle Group pass Suez Canal. And Right know Docked in Tartus Port?

I think it's better for China to send Troops to Syria to fight ISIS especially Uyghur Terrorist who work for ISIS in Syria.
I am afraid in the Future Thousands of that Terrorist will trespass Chinese Border to make Terrorist Attack in Xinjiang.

It's much better to stop and kill them all in Syria, other than in Inside of China.

It is highly unlikely that China will have an unannounced expedition in Syria. However, it would not be a bad idea actually to participate under the SCO which has the exact mission goal of combating terrorism. As long as Russia is taking the political lead, there would be little drawbacks for China, and a good opportunity for troop training as well as weapon testing. It is uncertain though whether Russia would want SCO to be engaged in Syria as China would be the last resort for it to call upon that could weaken its own position in the region.
