Pink Salt is no longer being sold to India or China in its raw form

Graphite used as 'Anode' in Tesla Battery. There are other countries producing this as well, but Pakistan has one of the biggest untapped graphite resources. The goal of Tesla is to upgrade the existing battery to 4,000 cycles, and make the battery last for 1-million miles. This is only possible with using more materials including Graphite. The amount of graphite produced presently in China and other countries is still not enough for very large scale battery production. Pakistan can really tap into this and become probably the biggest producer of Graphite on the planet. Oil is the fuel of the last century, batteries are the fuel of today and tomorrow.

Pakistan is an example of what can happen when a country is grossly mismanaged. Even groups and individuals that claim to know the problem don’t comprehend the true scale of the problem and what needs to be done to fix it.

I was recently reading about the gold and copper reserves in Pakistan and was shocked to read that only one mine, the reko diq mine has gold reserves worth more than $100 billion; yet the country goes around begging for 1-2 billion dollars almost every year.

Reko Diq sits in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, at the triangular border with Iran and Afghanistan. The mine has gold reserves with an estimated value of more than $100 billion.

Another mine Saindak Copper-Gold mines are making revenue of more than $2-billion a year. It’s unfortunate that Pakistan hasn’t developed its mining industry.

By the end of 2018, he said, “the project had processed more than 70 million tons of ore, produced about 240,000 tonnes of blister copper and achieved sales revenue of about $2.1bn. Until June 2019, the cumulative tax charges and profit share to the Pakistan government reached a total of $437m.

My friend, this mismanagement is deliberate because of immense corruption within the Establishment. The British never left the Sub-continent because they handed it over to their Agents within the Pakistan Establishment who have for 70 years ensured the slavery of Pakistan people continues on. There are so many resources in Pakistan that it would have been an absolute economic Superpower. But look at it - it begs like an orphan.

The question is have you been following your own link? The company selling the product is an Indian company https://www.amazon.in/sp?_encoding=...D=&seller=A1B8X69GP4LW9X&tab=home&vasStoreID=

Pakistan is still selling the Himalayan pink salt to India at dirt cheap prices and it’s India that manufacturing and selling the product throughout the world and earning billions. So it’s erroneous to suggest that Pakistan is selling to India at premium prices.

The sensible thing would be to shut out exports to India completely, eliminate their supply chain and have Pakistan export to the international market so it can reap the economic benefits. That’s not happening which makes your claim wrong and misleading.
Not anymore dear.
Please old stuff must be avalible. After Aug there is no export. Don't worry

I guess it will be possible to check this once existing inventory runs down after August? Are you you saying Pakistan will no longer export RAW pink salt to India to be processed, packaged and then re-sold.. or that, India will have to state formally that the source of origin of Pink salk is Pakistani but will still get raw unprocessed Pink Salt ?

Will Pakistan sell Processed/Packaged Pink Salt to Pakistan(with the value add being done in Pakistan) ?

Will India be allowed to continue to use Himalayan Pink Salt as a brand name or substitute something fake instead?

(i never gave much thought to Pink Salt, might pick up a Pakistani original brand in the UK and give it a go. Any recommendations?)

Additionally, who owns the trademark on Basmati rice ?

How can you label your salt as Himalayan pink salt when it does not come from the Himalayas. You cannot get Geographical Indication for your salt as Himalayan pink salt. It will have be called Khewra pink salt.

Are you also upset about the Cleveland Indians?

I have heard same about Pakistani rice being sold as Indian in foreign countries. Is it true?

Oh sure Pakistan has stopped all exports of pink salt. It is a stated fact. Its avalible only in khawra salt mines.
Now comes our job to market it as we wnat. If there is smuggling to curb it. Etc.
The government in short has ban it.
And the controls on India border is better so we should not worry about smuggling.
And I see many good pakistani brands prop up. It took up time but we would in coming years market it produce of Pakistan only.

I really hope it's true, find it ridiculous that India buys Pakistani pink salt on the cheap and then re exports it to make billions. We need to manage our resources and make maximum profit
Be warned...!
If we don’t get pink salt from Pakistan then we will just dye regular salt pink and sell it.
Thereby Crashing the market of pink salt..!
:devil::taz:

On a serious note, please don’t stop it, cos I myself use it.:partay:

Dude did you even watch the video?
Pakistan implemented the "Geographical Indication Law" in 2019.
No one can sell Pink Salt anymore without labeling it as Pakistani. That was the point of linking the amazon.in page. Why would an indian company selling something in india risk mentioning "Pakistani Origin" on its packing?

Besides, if you see on that product, people are complaining for the increased price, while on all other products, they are all complaining for the salt being mixed with sand or other elements. Why would that be if the exports were still on? Except maybe they have limited stocks now and they are mixing them with lower qualities of salt?
And the exports to India were also stopped last year at the same time. This video is not just by a random youtuber but by a well informed person. Watch the other videos he creates and how much research goes in every one of those.

Where is your proof for it being still exported to india on dirt cheap prices?
Just because it came from a YouTube source, so you as a lalu panju source of your own self is some how better than it? Or do you want to be taken seriously by labeling yourself doceinstein to feel special?

UPDATE:

For all the lazy naysayers who are quick to jump on the hate wagon without doing a bit research.

Read and watch below and try doing a bit of googling next time before calling me a fanboy?

Why so butthurt ? Did I hit a nerve ? I do not need to feel special by whatever name I decided to chose. Did I question you or any other member on this forum about their callsigns ??
Do you thing putting "ORIGIN: PAKISTAN" means it is being packaged in Pakistan also ?

"Read and watch below and try doing a bit of googling next time before calling me a fanboy?"

I did not notice anyone calling you a fanboy here. Do you have any serious issues you need help with ?

So your projection of your personal butt hurt on to me is some how supposed to make sense?
Your choice of alias is associated with your problematic mindset of "flawed self projection", which is pretty clear in how you choose your words and structure them into conversation.

Just explaining your own psychology to you. If it feels problematic then perhaps try fixing yourself.

So clearly we are getting raw salt which we are either selling to processing plants in India or exporting.

when were those listings made? what supply are they based on?
People often dont take down their established listings when they are no longer able to provide.

Well just get into the habbit of paying more mate. Stop leaching our salt for cheap

Yes, they re-package it in Dubai.

Yup plenty of UAE based brands selling Pakistani rice without a Pakistani label.

Khewra is not the only source. There are two big mines and some smaller mines. The biggest one is not even Khewra but another which produces double the amount than Khewra but I forgot its name.
And its at the footsteps of Himalya, so calling it Himalayan salt wont be wrong. The only problem is its your fellow indians who made it famous as Himalayan salt instead of calling it Pakistani salt.

We need to start labeling it as Pakistani Pink Salt and remove the Himalayan thingy.

Not to forget. We have huge reserves of silica. We mine it, sell it to China in raw form, and China sells it back to us for thousands of dollars a piece in the shape of solar panels.

Some one needs to save my country from its inhabitants.

By the way some one care to dig who was the benficary of such deal ? as some Gossips states that M2 motorway 100 Km extra route was made on request of Ch Nisar which obviously is always considered front man of Shhhhh!!
