I live in a neighborhood like this,Very similar............................. The struggle was real

But this is my hometown Chitral (Northern areas) ,Not a single place in Pakistan comes close.
From Paragliding to everything else ,It is a place like no other in the world and Foreigners completely love it.
My house is located above the beautiful chitral river on a hill side ,Which has some of the most cleanest air one could imagine (Given the recent SMOG SITUATION in CITIES) ,Although it has deteriorated since windpatterns from India and China cause air pollution over Himalayas still far better.

Chitral is a place of Large Ethnic groups and one of the most beautiful people, One of my distant relatives have a very Germanic appearance (Aryan) tall blonde whatever that eye color is,This is perhaps the most surprising thing about chitral.
People here look like Chinese (Surprise) they actually murdered and enslaved Chitralis until they were driven away by my Great Great grandfather Nadir Rais who later established a local monarchy and local bureaucracy.
Some of my aunts living here in Rawalpindi and their children look Chinese-ish.
Others like me have Turkic origin and Iranian .
A group of Punjabi emigrants live in Chitral too ,So Chitral is a cross cultural ethnic mix of the region.
The district has in Past recent years seen a surge in Wahhabism (Radicalism) ,but people are extremely innocent and mostly keep to themselves they never loose their humor and somtimes blame the earthquakes on Kufaaar (I.E The kailiash people Girl in Picture).
The area is quite educated too and kept away from Major war on terror areas in recent times primary education in the district has a literacy rate of 90%+ ,Internet age is sweeping through and every house has broadband or 4G/3G user, Almost everybody has a Car in Chitral due to exempted tax ,Cars cost cheeper and Luxurious ones like Axio and Corolla X /Vitz are being driven as taxis.
Overall the countryside seems far better but it gets freaking cold in winter.
I wouldn't live anywhere else but home.

this is the Trinkuranlage (drink cure complex) in the past the people on cure went there to drink water from a fontain... (terrible tasting high on iron and other minerals but healthy) after drinking they could relax and listen to concerts... today it is home of a small museum, restaurant a cocktail bar and dancing school and during summer time they make concerts for oldery people mostly classis music.... it is only a stone throw away from my homeI walk there every day with my dogs...

So this pic caught my eye because this style architecture is quite prevalent here in the New England area and especially in Massachusetts and even the metropolitan area. It's referred to as the "Tudor" style, where you have that beautiful architecture such as the corner bays that stick out but the essential element to that style is the stucco mix with the embedded, brown timber that dawns the surface. This is a very historic, architectural style among many others in this area that is essentially derived from medieval architecture in England, during the Tudor period (1485–1603.) Hence, New England, but I'm not surprised that it's also in Germany.

Here are some of the Tudor style homes in NE and you can see that similarity, especially with the wood planks embedded in the stucco surface. And if you notice, the wood and stucco is often the same exact color.

This is probably the most famous Tudor style building in Boston (Coolidge Corner, Brookline.)

Even in New York City you'll have Tudor style homes built in the 1920's that are side by side with others and towered by huge apartment buildings. The style is very distinct with just those 2 materials.

Timber framed houses are typical German with tonnes of different styles here they are called Fachwerkhaus... the hous I life in is over 400years old and recived a major rebuild about 200years ago... it was first a normal two storie building... they added a third storie with the visible framed, the framed first two stories were covered and only the frame in the third storie is visible... next to that the little corner tower was added in german called Erker with typical middleage Butzenglas (grown glass) windows ... little side note it was the first house build outside the townwall and it was hime of the first cure doctor of Bad Nauheim

No it has a Religious significance in both Hinduism and Buddhism! It is believed to have been brought to india by the Aryans many moons ago!
