You see? Nobody stops them from burning the Israeli flag. There is still a place in their community where they can thrive. Do you Pakistanis, even the ones living abroad, have any hope that you can do the same? That instead of crying for the death of Israel you could unconditionally support it? That you could burn the Pakistani flag as a protest against your nation's policies?

I don't support the burning of any countries flag.

These people are ultra-orthodox, they don't recognise Israel at all.

I like that Israel is bringing in good values of liberty, democracy and freedom of speech/expression to the middle east.

I certianly don't wish death to any of my fellow human beings.

Any ideas on how to build a Pakistan tolerant and strong enough to stop Pakistanis who do?

I do think that educated Pakistanis have a natural inlclination to the left. Education is the key component that is missing. With time, I think Pakistanis will be more tolerant of other people; Israel and America included.

I think the funding of hardline Madrassas by the Saudis will also have to stopped.

Careful. The very well-educated Z.A.B. used "bread & shelter" as a means to reach the summit of power, eliminate half the country, and suppress democratic opposition.

1) I'm not sure the Saudis are the primary problem now. There are other rich Gulf Arabs who see the madrassas as training grounds for their mercenaries and personal guards.

2) Why can't Pakistan counter the madrassa schools and teaching with schools and teaching of its own?

If you're always looking for foreigners to do things for you, you're not going to make much effort to change things yourself, are you?

Standing up against their country takes courage and they have earned My respect.

Murdoch apologizes to ADL for 'Jewish owned press' tweet.

“Why Is Jewish owned press so consistently anti- Israel in every crisis?” —

(Reuters) - A Hamas official said on Tuesday Egypt had brokered a Gaza ceasefire deal that would go into effect within hours, but a spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "we're not there yet".

Well leaders will do whatever they want to stay in power regardless of their political leaning or background. I was referring more to the comman man.

Perhaps you are right, the Pakistani goverment has allowed Madrassas to be a substitue for a proper education. I do forsee this changing with Imran Khan.

2) Why can't Pakistan counter the madrassa schools and teaching with schools and teaching of its own?

Exactly. Secular education should be compulsory.

If you're always looking for foreigners to do things for you, you're not going to make much effort to change things yourself, are you?

True, bad governance has made Pakistan dependant on foreigners, the country will change when the people decide for themselves, otherwise they can live in their hell hole.

1) "The people" need leaders for that to happen, or else the "hell hole" remains unchanged.

2) Leaders need some sort of security to function.

If you can't get that security in Pakistan itself, one alternative is to begin a "shadow" political process in the expatriate community.

What are your views on Imran Khan? He fits the bill correct? Very popular with the people and a leader.

Well, We'll have to wait untill the elections in 2013. He's the last hope, if he fails, then perhaps we can look at alternative solutions.

He has brought in the "same old politicians" who are not corrupt and have thier money in the coutry.

Either way, I'm not a citizen of the country and neither am I voting. who do you support? MQM is also secular so I don't mind them.

So you have IK. Americans had Ben Franklin, George Washington, Sam Adams, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Pickney, William Paterson, and others. They both cooperated with each other and competed against each other as free men. Despite the idolization of Obama and Roosevelt, most Americans put no trust in princes.

I dont know but it was tweeted by some Palestinian.

Now you know Pallys are pathological liars. My friends have been "facebooking" and "tweeting" photos of Saddam Hussein atrocities on his own people as Israeli war crimes.
