The above from RIAT and the rest from AE07.. Sweden had 3 jets in India. 8 IAF pilots flew it during AE07 but I couldn't find pics of all..

nice for them to fly something different for a change I suppose.. even if it's in the backseat I am sure they got to do rolls and w/e, that's usually what guest pilots get to do. some even get to land.

The rear seat got almost everything except a HUD.

I wish India doesn't buy this plane, it would be a sour lesson for the Swedish government as we would've bought this bird 3 years ago but they held it back since apparently they wanted the Indian sale.

Yes.. He is Active....was commissioned in the flying branch as a fighter pilot in 1975.

The other pilots that we see here in pictures are Air Commodore Sharma, Commandant National Flight Test Centre, Air Commodore Nair, Personal Staff Officer to then Air Chief Marshall SP Tyagi and NFTC test pilot Wing Commander Tivari.
