What's new

PIA reaches break-even in operating profit

We are nation of 220 million and growing ……. We only have one National Airline and our own airline is our major Airline ….. PIA can make billion $$ if we properly reorganise it ……. Same goes for Steel Mill...…
But Mafias in Pakistan want destruction for both so they can make money .. Just like MCB bank and many other .. (Govt owned once )

Only if me make PIA an independent entity free from political influences.

.
Thats probably another BS news they are spreading. Every few months we hear news like this, or even the retarded announcements of PIA having become profitable.

.
All PDF members who travel should start making trip reports of their travel on PIA and share it here. This way we will know of any tabdeeli.

. . .
I have started to fly with pia again after refusing to for a long time. Its just that its a direct flight. Infact Pakistani abroad prefers PIA if they continue to improve.

. . . .
break-even at operational level means the revenue is equal to or slightly more than the operational costs. Admin, selling, marketing, HR, and probably fixed costs are not covered, that means it is still losing money. just an alternate way to describe the situation.

Yes and we have to , just look at MCB Bank , this deal made Mnsha a Munsha ….. lol …… PIA can earn Billions of $$$ ,

One thing is for sure, we all want National revival, and there are opinions about reaching there.
Fully agree with you bro …. MCB bank made Munsha bilinear …… Our National organisations can do wonders ( One main reason is because they have almost zero competition and market is huge)

.
Should be making 5 Billion Dollar annual profits as foreign flight passengers all pay in Dollars for their tickets

  • PIA
  • PIA Freight
  • Steeles Mills
  • Pakistan Shipping Corporation
  • Railways
  • Inter City Transport Company (Does not exist now)

All these entities should be making 1 Billion to 5 Billion Dollar Profits, each
