Phenomenon that can destroy Pakistani economy !

The population of Pakistan is 180+ million now ! Our economy isn't doing great...Floods,earthquakes and war on terrorism has inflicted huge damage on our already weak economy.Under such circumstances..our population is still growing..Don't you think it would be disaster for Pakistan if things continue this way? More population means more food,more schools,more health centers,more houses,more roads and all that but we know that our govt. would NOT be able to provide all this...

THIS trend of growing population can prove to be FATAL for the state of Pakistan in next few decades..What you guys think?

+ Our GDP is less than $200 billion while the GDP of Israel (with the population of just 7 million is over $200 billion

what do u mean "being a muslim" population is as big problem for a muslim country as for any other non muslim country
if its not then china wouldnt have implemented 1 child policy

Oh you mean "Being a dumbass,I shouldn't worry about the growing population" ...Sorry bro but this approach is destructive ! Being a Muslim or being a hindu or being a Jews has nothing to do with it ! Our growing population is a VERY SERIOUS problem. Being a Muslim won't automatically make your economy grow.In today's world,economic independence and strength is must..Think about it.Religion has NOTHING to do with it ! Don't you want your children to live a respectable,health and a happy life?

Population, by itself, is a neutral factor. If there is good education, economy and infrastructure, then a large young demographic is a dynamo for growth. Replace these with uneducation, unemployment and poverty, and the same demographic is just trouble waiting to happen.

Japan, Sweden and Israel don't have large populations, but they do quite well. India and China have always had loads of people, but were relatively stagnant until recently.

But, all things considered and especially looking at the prospects in Pakistani politics, we should curb population growth.

Population of a country, to me, a very vague term.
The population of Singapore, Netherlands, HongKong, Japan is big for the size of land they have, i.e population density.
They have more population and yet have some of the highest per capita income...and lowest population growth.
It seems a good economy is best birth control method and a poor economy breeds population growth.

Pakistan needs , a 1 Child policy , if god forbid the child dies then you should be able to either adapt or have another child

The population needs to be 80-100 Million max for Pakistan to be a prosper

If we can get Afghania province we could move some of the Afghans and other migrants back to new province and also balance the population
