Regardless of what any anti-army people say, our boys did a better job than the Americans when Bagram Air base was attacked.

realsitically, this was the best possible outcome..
the deaths that occurred were due to rocket fire from mountains and an attack(with RPGs) on a police check point a few KM away from the airport, which caused 1 police officer death and 3 civilians..the old bara road is actually the back side of the airport, probably the easiest way to enter the airport..
it seems that forces had a prior warning from intelligence, thats why they were so ready..

Our response is defensive in nature as we are on receiving end. A terrorist on a suicide mission has noting to loose. Last night attack (thanks to Allah) was unsuccessful as no loss was done to Air base. But we lost 5 precious lives of civilians and again a message was sent to entire world that Pakistan is not a save place, terrorist can strike anywhere they want. Now this is what terrorist want to make a negative perception of Pakistan. My point is that we need to attack these terrorist before they could. We should take initiative and eliminate these bastards. Otherwise such attacks will continue and we will be discussing them after every 2 months or so.

The buffer zone areas of Afghanistan are flat areas , its very logical for Pakistan to take over these flat areas Move in 300-400 Tanks and provide Air Support.

100,000 Soldiers dearm the natives or get the tribals on their side , and single out the Terrorist warlords

Many times these Warlords rule with fear over local populations and this has to be stopped

Flush out , the zone - establish a local political force get them into Pakistan Parliment
