As idiotic and corrupt as he was, Musharraf was still a man of the state.
The man took millions in bribes from US officials, and in exchange through Pakistan head long into a war that Pakistan probably won't fully recover from, for at least the next few decades.Idiotic, that's your opinion. But corrupt? please explain.

It's an open secret that Musharraf temporarily turned the ISI into a bounty hunting organization, during the early years of the war on terror, and he kept most of those bounties in various companies and accounts.
Mostly for himself, he has property in Dubai, UK, and allegedly in the US.But not for himself, right? There is absolutely no proof (that I have seen) to even indicate that Musharraf personally profited (financially) from any of this.

There is no tangible proof that Zardari and Nawaz Sharif stole or are stealing from the Pakistani state, but we all know that they have and still are.
Bro, from my understanding Army personnel (especially senior officers) receive land and property throughout their careers. Each piece of land/property can be worth many crore and selling them provides for a very nice retirement.
Musharraf’s flat in London is a tiny one bed and my average london house probably costs more. Don't know about property in Dubai. His son lives in USA and the home their is probably his.
My point is, the man made his mistakes but no one has ever blamed him (with proof) of corruption.
I criticise him for many of his idiotic decision and Pakistan is suffering from them and the can be exhaustive but I don't think he was corrupt...I mean not even his worst critics call him corrupt.As idiotic and corrupt as he was, Musharraf was still a man of the state.
They receive land WITHIN Pakistan, not outside of it. His property is fairly large.Bro, from my understanding Army personnel (especially senior officers) receive land and property throughout their careers. Not really defending anyone, simply point something out.Musharraf had taken decisions which failed but when you compare the previous and Today's Government they are worst decisions maker and they're the best in corruption.
@That Guy
buddy, if i sell my moderate house in Toronto i will get 9 carore Pakistani rupees, you get my point?
Hi,
People don;t know that commander in chief of pak military gets 5% commission on all weapon purchase deals---supposedly this was passed long before Mushy came into power----.
Plus his 150 speeches that he gave after leaving pakistan---each from 100k to 250K dollars---plus his book deal---.
The man made mistakes! The man let the US set up base next door who then raised a hostile government which allowed Bharat in, so a base could be set up to destabilize Pakistan and CPEC. Which Pakistan has been suffering for the over a decade now.Bro, from my understanding Army personnel (especially senior officers) receive land and property throughout their careers.
