Permanent U.N. seat for Islamic states

I am not saying that Turkey has to be a part of the European Union first then she will accepted as a candidate for u.n. seat.

What I am saying is that the West is not even willing to accept Turkey as a part of the European Union then what makes you think that the West will accpet Turkey as a permanent U.N. member ????

And the only reason why USA and the West is supporting India for a U.N. seat is because the USA wants to use India to hold down China's rise to a great power status.

i wish real politik was that simple..getting EU membership is a totally different thing..have u read the 3000 pg criterion??there are reservations on both sides..
UNSC is about representation..

West is actually quite divided on the issue. The U.S. and the U.K. are big supporters of turkey's EU membership though. While Germany and France not so much.

You want me to put articles which are against current UNSC members which are infact in much much larger numbers so that countries should ask for their resigning?/

Its United Nations.. not United religions..

the OIC is the body that needs to be strengthened.
There would be no need for an Muslim seat at the permanent council..if there was ever any unity amongst Muslim nations.. any hint of such is religiously pursued and killed off.. ala 70's Bhutto-Gadhafi and faisal.
