And by the way, like I explained in my earlier post, this entire religious card you people love to play, is completely bogus. If religion is indeed so important, will you support India's candidature on the basis that Hindus and Muslims are almost equal in number today, both are around a billion strong, so why should the Hindu majority India not get representation only on the basis of religion? But no, you people will never agree to support Kaafir Hindus being up there, am I right? Thankfully your support and your statements don't matter even one bit.

The real point is that A global conflict involves Islam where as Hinduism has nothing to do with it.Iraq,Afghanistan,Yemen,Pakistan,Iran,Kashmir ,Palestine etc are all Muslim lands Islamophobia is at the highest in the west.
In such situation,Muslims should have their representation at UNSC as this organization deals with global conflicts.To solve a conflict,One has to listen to both sides..and Muslims are the other side

representation of a muslim country in UNSC is important so that muslims and muslim countries do not feel alienated and the notion of Al Q that the war is muslims against the rest of the world doesn't hold.

For now , Turkey and Egypt are the Islamic countries with an international voice and image. The former having a better chance due to better economy and moderate image thus forming a bridge between muslims and the west.

Why on earth would the current world powers want to give Muslims a permanent seat, when like you said, Islamophobia is at it's highest in the world. If there is a global conflict involving Islam, then the last thing anyone would do is give the Islamic countries a permanent seat in the security council. The permanent seat is not about giving everyone a bit of power, it is about ensuring that the powerful nations get a chance to exercise and retain their influence. Why do you think the winners of world war 2 got the seats. If, there really is a war going on, maybe the Islamic countries will get a seat too, if Islam wins the war that you think is happening.

Islamic states consist of more than 1 billion people and yet no permanent U.N. seat for any Muslim state. So it
is about time to consider a permanent U.N. seat for Islamic states. If USA is willing to support India then Uncle SAM should also offer the same deal to Pakistan.
Recently USA has been acting very bias when dealing with India and Pakistan : USA has offered Nuke Deal and transferring high tech military technology to India but nothing to Pakistan even when pakistani soldiers are dying everyday helping USA to fight Al Qaeda.

I don't think UN distinguishes anyone on the basis of religion. Countries come representing economy, trade, defence, net exports/imports, deficits, money they owe etc.

To say that an Islamic country should have a seat just because of its religion, would create a religious frenzy around the world. US backed us not because of Hindu/Buddhist/Sikh/Jain faith etc but because of population as one country (without religious considerations), form of political ruling (democracy), economic capability, purchasing power parity, founding member of UNO tag, one of the top contributor of UN peace keeping forces, military and defence capabilities and other such worldly parameters.

NO one in UN permanent or temporary (even China) would accept a seat on religious grounds.

Hindus worldwide are around 1.43 billion my friend and growing. This is not a structured religion as you think it is; it is a way of life and has multiple branches like my own Buddhism and other sects and sub sects (like mine). It is kind of complicated and you might not understand if I explain you here.

Because religion doesn't decide other more practical factors like education, food, agriculture, health, defence, economic capability, spending power, foreign trade, budget deficit etc.

Don't deviate the thread with confrontational points please. Muslims as "muslims" don't have representation because none of the Muslim countries have stable economy (barring Turkey and Egypt which are not constitutionally Islamic), scientific, engineering, medical etc infrastructure (not reliant on expatriates but domestic capability), stable political ruling system etc. This has nothing to do with islamophobia. I don't understand where you get that word. There are so many religious communities around the planet; you're just one of them like anyone else.

Saudi Arabia has recently been the core help of intelligence against AQ and Taliban agents in their country and themselves being Muslim country (hardliners) have helped against terrorism. Turkey was the first country with majority Muslims to declare war on terror and sent troops along with non-Muslim NATO associates. Why're you putting all eggs in one basket?

The only one on the other side are terrorists, radicals, religious bigots and fundamentalists who don't deserve a hearing for their inhuman actions. Why are you putting these non-humans with those who're working hard to restore your community's reputation?

I would recommend you to increase you knowledge about your home country. Here are the points. See carefully

Economy:
1. World rate the India among second fastest growing company and predict the rate will sustain for next 20 years. Unlike china. Note the point here.

Defense:
1. World rate the India fourth strongest country advanced and big military.

Why world care:
1. All the west and Asian had great dependencies on India for future to keep their economy live.

2. Skilled and large cheap labor hub which china and all other country lacks. I am proud to write these sentence for India.

Politics:
1. Only other eligible candidate are Japan and Germany. EU not going to get another. Japan, China stops it and all other favor India over Japan.

I had many other strong reason to make Indian as Veto. After all its the game all the points and truth noone care.
