I think you know very well that he is a Muslim but doesn't conform to your form of Islam and therefore, just to irritate him, you called him a 'Hinduvaadi' who is out to defame Islam i.e, Islam is the religion of concern for you(even though you call yourself a socialist and want to rise above religion) and like some Pakistanis, for whom every person who criticizes Pakistan and its policies and/or says anything 'against' Muslims has to be Indian(even if he/she sports different flags)......for you(since you happen to be an Indian), every person disagreeing with your kind of Islam and/or disagreeing with your view, has to be a 'Hinduvaadi'........see the similarity!!
I'm sorry to tell you but you're no more a socialist than those radical Taliban whom you hate(irony)...when you'll realize that, you'll actually be able to change yourself....

.....could be, I cannot deny or confirm that......but the point is, you said you prefer a socialist and irreligious(if that is the meaning of 'post-religion') world ......then you cannot connect any religion to socialism even if it may have some socialist aspects......moreover, I don't think that only Abrahamic religions have socialist aspects, if you're willing to search with an open mind, you'll find many in other faiths and beliefs as well.........
Therefore, if you want a truly 'irreligious' world, you can EITHER discard all the religious teachings of world OR, to maintain neutrality, take the best from all and form your own new socialist ideology....
