As I have stated many times before...Pak state must become the new security guarantor of ME.
Pak can keep both Iran and GCC from each others throats...
But for this to happen Pak must start acting its true potential..i.e. A Central Asian and ME Regional Power.
Without choosing sides Pak can become a balancing force between the Iran-Arab divide.
A nuclear power, with professional, well trained and battle hardend armed forces. With highly educated and skilled middle/professional class...
For any such security architecture to emerge...Pak must take the iniative and develop a framework that benefits its strategic vision and operational needs.
And most of all for protecting CPEC, Pak would need to take bold steps to integerate GCC states into Sino-Pak strategic vision of Peace and Development.
Iran and Turkey will join CPEC without a doubt. I hope Pak Brothers can see how CPEC is just not about physical infrastructure alone.
It is the foundation of a new Geo-Economic Infrastructure.
