This is how the hard-working poor people in our country suffer today, because of the two witche$. OSome of their reaction compiled below. Really, we need our days to change..and that too very soon.

It's as if the government has enforced a shutdown today [yesterday]. Normally, you find a bus or two on a hartal day, but today there is none.

If the government itself is troubled with the opposition rally, what is it that lay ahead for us? In our country both the government and the opposition are concerned about their own interest, and neither of them give a damn about public interest.

On a normal day, I earn between Tk 200 and Tk 300. But today I have earned only Tk 10, and it's already afternoon. I cannot tell how to buy food for my family.

I may be a BNP activist, but after all I am a citizen of this country. The way the police have searched my bag and body at different spots on my way to Dhaka, I think it has beat the Pakistani army's act of frisking people and their belongings in 1971.

She's smarter than Tarique. But the only problem with women is that taking care of family gets the highest priority. Even in India, with so many checks and balances, Sonia Gandhi continues to keep dynastic politics alive. But all these women are still better than Pakistan's low life crook.

I would have loved to answer all your points but this is a different topic. Lets make it short and concise west (israel, usa, eu, japan) > iran.....if israel decided to invest 200 billion dollars in Bangladesh, i would gladly put an israeli flag on my car and cruise through the streets of dhaka and recognize israel as the savior.
