I would have loved to answer all your points but this is a different topic. Lets make it short and concise west (israel, usa, eu, japan) > iran.....if israel decided to invest 200 billion dollars in Bangladesh, i would gladly put an israeli flag on my car and cruise through the streets of dhaka and recognize israel as the savior.

But, if Israel wants to interfere with our military R&D, I wouldn't ***** ourselves out for 200 billion dollars. It's like selling your sovereignty, your security and your women for money. As for Iran, they've got enough money though - all they need right now is to become the undisputed power in ME, replacing Israel!

interfering in our matters is not acceptable, we are a sovereign nation. I'd rather have israel leading the middle east than some arab or a persian nation.

Well that's what you want, but we were discussing whether Ahmedinejad is a good leader for Iran. No sane leader would ever give up their military ambitions for temporary peace!

Israel will give 200 billion USD??? the country which live by taking 3 billion usd aid (which is equivalent to 66 billion usd aid for Bangladesh if considered in terms of per capita aid) and many other indirect aid and help from USA alone and different aid and trade concession many from many other country, thinking that country will give aid to other is just like day dreaming.

N so you want to sell Bangladesh for 200 billion usd???

Israel's R&D capability is over hiped. Yes they have some capability but it was not a product which was built up by their country but they received 1 million engineer, scientist and researcher from Soviet union after its collapse. For a country of 7 million this is a significant number. If Israel had to produce such amount of scientist, researcher and engineers it would take Israel decades to come to even present position. N do not forget Israel almost free access to most of the US technology they get as part of concession or indirect aid.

If the Iranians, Indians and even Bangladeshi expertise those who are living abroad return it would transform the country to a great extent. By the way Israel is now in down fall. Within a matter of time it will be much much lagged behind then the Iranians and Turkey in terms of paper publishing research & development by couple of time margin in near future and will be thrown in to dustbin.

As you are in Canada I hope you know the capability of the Iranian students.

This is how the hard-working poor people in our country suffer today, because of the two witche$. OSome of their reaction compiled below. Really, we need our days to change..and that too very soon.

That why I always refrain from Cult of worshiping a leader. Hartal and Bandh sponsored by political parties should be made illegal in every country because it cause no benefit to common man and increases their hardship and causes huge blow to economic progress. In India it is widely said Kolkata was left behind from big cities in India's Economic Boom because of culture of Bandh and hartals there. And I see same Character in Dhaka also.

Artificial built up GDP... getting tons of free aid, free trade concession, technology from other countries.

N obviously 1 million soviet expertise which is the backbone of Israeli economy.

If any country get such support, aid and concession that country will have a significantly huge gdp.

But its future is not good and bright thats why none of the cases its probable future gdp is published.

For example turkey will have 60000 usd per capita gdp, saudi arabia 96000 usd, uae, kuwait likely more then 100k and qatar already has more then 100 k per capita gdp by 2050.

People's standard of living is better than our people in Luxemborg. The thing is about affording a defence budget. In India its 1.83% of GDP and if we make it 5% we will going to face more social problems and economic hardship.

And Israel has such a huge budget because of it is the matter of their existence from the Arab States, that's why every Israelis is ready to serve as a soldier.

Did you put the effort to read the complete article, their economy still healthy and even with 10% defence budget the issues they are facing is same like healthy economies with 2-3% defence budget.
